22 songs in 24 minutes. Do I even need to tell you what genre Mrser fits in to? Well, youve probably heard about these guys anyway, so I guess not. But if you havent guessed it already, this is grindcore. Not just basic grind, theres also a lot of metal influences thrown in here, death metal. One thing thats unique about this band is the line up. One drummer (basic), one guitarist (quite basic), two bass players (not so basic), and then there are four vocalists (quite unusual). Its not noticeable that there are so many vocalists, but apparently its so. Probably a very cool line up to see live. The artworks cool as hell. Graveyard picture, beautiful! Lyrics are also included, but all in German so I dont bother reading them, hehe Well anyway, back to the actual music. Its quite heavy with a lot of death metal, as said before. Slower heavier parts with deep growls and screams breaks out into outbursts of relentless grind, without loosing the heaviness. The vocals are mixed quite low, so the instruments get to be the main-part of the experience. The vocals are very good and brutal as hell, but mostly a thundercloud in the background of the grind parts. Dont know what else to say. Its damn good, but I wish that the vocals got a more distinct place.
