What the hell is going on here? The intro is some form of a capella/spokenword thingie, which is unfortunately a tad difficult to take seriously. Nothing wrong with the lyrics, but the fact that it sounds like a drunk on his way home from the pub makes it questionable. Fortunately this is not the case for the remainder of the album. Music-wise this is absolutely killer. Without a doubt their best to date. A fast forward tornado of mangling d-beat, thundering strings and screaming madmen. If there was even a hint of doubt about Project Hopeless quality before, theres not a trace of it now. Energetic-as-hell and it makes me long for a moshpit to thrash around.
Favorite track will probably have to be Take a look around you. Here, the spokenword part really takes full effect (just as in several other tracks), before the fucking outrageous crust sets in. This album is just bloody marvelous in each and every aspect. Musically its just freakin awesome, the artwork by Steve Vow is just killer, and you even get a cool poster to decorate your local squat with.
