I don't mean to sound mean, but I just don't like this. Power/heavy metal is really not my cup of tea. Sure, the riffs are very distinctive, it never sounds like they're repeating themselves. The drumming is very well executed, and it's all very tight and extremely melodic. I think people of this genre will love this CD, but I can't for the life of me listen to this and enjoy it. The vocalist, Peter Dunne, has a fairly strong and varied voice. Every song differs from the others, and it all becomes a wholeness as a record. I think I find influences of Iron Maiden, though way more melodic. It has some pretty cool parts that sucks you in and forces your hands and feet to move along to the tunes - and this even though I don't like power metal. So this band has a lot speaking for them. And the instrumental fifth track is very relaxing. But it still doesn't feel fair for me to judge this. Lots of others are raving about this band, so I advice you to check out what other zine's have to say about this CD. It's very well done, but to me it's a mere 5.5.
