Hmm, this was a first to me This band Sheeva Yoga, that Ive never heard of before, have compiled 14 covers for this release. Since no original tracks are included and Ive never heard the band before Im not really sure what to make of it. And considering the wide variety of acts theyve covered it seems a tad schizophrenic, but the liner notes to each track explains why they chose that particular song by that particular band.
All three guys share the screaming duties while still keeping track of their individual instruments. All vocals show off quite a desperate edge, and theyre all really cool. As far as the musical bit goes the instruments are handled in an orderly fashion, and all tracks are well executed. The sounds pretty slick too.
Im not really sure what else to say. If youre a fan of the band Im sure this is a really cool release, or if youre just in the mood for some hardcore/crust/grind mangling it might be worth picking up. But Id really like to know how the band actually sounds like.
