You know, I have no problem with grindcore and goregrind on speed with a drummachine going apeshit. I really enjoy acts like Dataclast, Pantalones Abajo Marinero, Gigantic Brain, Decomposing Serenity etc, and bands like Microphallus and Blue Holocaust can definitely be good, but And this sure is a big but Snuffgrinder is way too out there for my taste. This is like seriously annoying techno with some growls and samples of grinding drummachines put into the mix. I really dont like this shit. But I guess that a goregrind freak with a love for techno and noise can be into this, cause thats what it is to me noisy techno. However theres definitely a lot of time put into making this, that I can tell since its seems to be quite skillfully done. And its a bit amusing to hear some recognizable samples every now and then, like a bit from The AnimalsThe house of the rising sun thrown into Snuffholic Interlude. There arent any lyrics included, and Im not sure there are any, but I guess this is to be considered a theme album. No doubt about it, this dude sure likes his snuff, and as he points out it has nothing to do with snuff films, but is just an ode to tobacco. The artwork is really cool and fits the theme perfectly.
Imagine Libido Airbag on acid, or if your thing is Jan AG, then I imagine this should be an album for you. To me its annoying.
