Soulcraft - Absolute suspicion LP
Genre: Hardcore
Origin: Japan
Released: -
Website: Soulcraft
Label: Putrid Filth Conspiracy
Uploaded: -

Weird and crazy Japanese hardcore that makes me think of GISM, don't know why, they just do. Not really my thing but this is damn charming. Originally released as a CD on Bloodsucker Records, but now unleashed on vinyl by PFC.
Song titles are in English, lyrics are in Japanese with occasional thrown in English phrases. Somehow this all feels really typical for Japanese hardcore, both music and vocals, but also artwork and layout. I wouldn't go as far as to call this japcore 'cause then I imagine people thinking of bands like Beyond Description, and that's no good comparison. This is just cool hardcore from Japan! But as I said it's really not my cup of tea, but it grows on you. Charming and cool as hell with crazy-ass vocals. Don't know exactly what to compare it to, just buy!
