A blast from the past... I didn't know Kurt I Kuv�s and Raped Teenagers had reformed. Oh wait, this is Svartenbrandt, a completely new constellation. Well, I'll be damned!
As you might have understood from the previous sentences this is arse-kicking hardcorepunk in the vein of Swedish old school bands back in the early 80ies. Everything from the drumming to the riffs to the vocals to the lyrics is like a blast from the past, and a big one too! Lyrical wise it's quite straight on politically raging bits concerning modern day politicians, every day life etc. Chaotic and energetic spastic tunes of mosh friendly hardcore, urging every limb to get up on the floor and thrash the place.
If you like the previously mentioned bands Kurt I Kuv�s, Raped Teenagers and the likes you're gonna go mad about Svartenbrandt. Short energetic songs, a raging vocalist, powerful back ups and mean lyrics. This would be absolutely awesome live!
