This split will blow the grind scene away, I'm sure of it. Poostew starts of with some totally ripping grindcore. Viciously screamed vocals paired with brutal growling, leaving room for the distorted and screechy metallic strings, as the brutal drumming'll surely grind you to hell. This is my first time experiencing Poostew, and by the name I would have guessed fecal inspired goregrind, but surely that's not true. This is some brutal fucking metallic grinding, totally ripping! I also suspect this band to like the movie Fight Club quite a lot. Sure, no lyrics are included, but considering there's a 48 second long sample from the movie in the sixth track, the one named "Tyler Durden". Do you know who Tyler Durden is? One of the characters in Fight Club!
This band Ripped 2 Shreds creates music that instantly blew me away - Such fucking brutality! The drumming kills, fast grinding with a lot of use of double bass drums. Guitar and bass are there to assist with some metallic fucking riffing and string work. The amazing deathgrind is accompanied by a growling/grunting vocalist, and some disgruntled screaming. This is just totally killer!
Two pretty unknown German bands teamed up for this split, but after this I'm sure it'll be two well-known German purveyors of metallic and brutal grind.
