Man, was I excited when I suddenly got this disc in my mailbox. I saw on the post office's stamp that it was sent to me in November, and I received it in late January. Damn, the postal service works fast (take notice of the irony).
Anyway... After listening to this record, some times now, I can easily say that this is the best Victims stuff I've heard. Even the graphics kicks ass. Pummelling d-beat, raging guitars, pissed lyrics and ferocious vocals. It seems like everything you used to like about Victims has now been taken to a whole new level. The drums absolutely pummels you to death as the strings rips you to shreds and the amazing vocal work makes your ears drum-membrane explode.
I think the lyrics have taken a turn for a more depressive state, very much in the way of Skitsystem's latest stuff. Most are in English, but when they go Swedish they sure are angst-filled...
The whole thing reminds me a lot of Acursed's A Fascist State In Disguise, and of course of Skitsystem. Without a doubt a must for every fan of Swedish crustcore. I simply adore this CD.
