20th of April - Berlin Airport, Germany
Emil: Stuck at the airport due to the tourbus being delayed. After 7 hours of waiting we got picked up and off we went to berlin where we had our first gig. I..m really excited to see what kind of craziness will occur on this roadtrip of ours, it is a LONG tour concisting of 44 shows so I think there will be quite some stories to tell!

Joinus: Me, Legion and Emil met up with the guys in Finspng. From Finspng up to Nykping, where the airport is, Tomas had to pick up his sunglasses and get a pizza. So one of the cars went directly to the airport. Three of us were sitting at the airport grabbing some quick food and waiting for the rest. But the rest never came...until it was two minutes left. So we unloaded the gear. Taped the locks on the guitar and went on to the check-in. Just to find out we were five minutes late. We were sent to a special check-in stressed as hell. But so far it went quite fine. We headed to the gate passing the metaldetectors and every fucking limb started to beep on that shit. We were still quite stressed and finally I could pass the metal detector. But then I couldnt get my boots on. Theyre completely new and not walked in yet so I was standing there struggling as hell. I wanted to be on that plane when it left the ground. Finally I got them on and ran to gate...and therefore todays shower was completely ruined.

Tomas: Well the tour had a very stressful start. Due to various matters we almost missed the flight, but we made it in the last minute. Right now Im sitting at the Berlin airport together with the other guys, drinking beer and were waiting for the tour buss to pick us up. We are so ready to meet the metal people all over Europe and give a hell of a performance!

Legion: I..m just smiling my ass off. Walking around the airport in Berlin watching all the people who all are in a rush, the languages everything is just putting me in the mood. I love being underway and I..m just so ready to bring it on! Legionaire!! Peter from Vader shouts and from there on its a great catching up with friends and making new aquintances.

21st of April - Berlin, Germany
Emil: Today I woke up by having cramps in my left leg, I hate that... Despite that it was a Monday we were quite happy with how many people had showed up at the gig. As usual the toilets are one of the kind here. No water for the turd to splash down into so when you..re done doing the number 2, it..s just laying there stinking on the toilet bowl, waiting to be inspected before you flush it down. Wierd design...

Tomas: The first gig on the tour. The place looked really cool and VADER, SEPTIC FLESH, INACTIVE MESSIAH, the tour crew have been outstanding! Really nice people. One of my guitar cables didnt survive the trip to Germany but Peter (of VADER) saved the day and gave me one of his cables. Lucky me...

Legion: Germany is my second home. Wouldn..t it have been for Devian I would have been living in Hamburg now. I spend my day out on the city eating, talking to people. The gig is killer. A guy has made a clay Legion figure, fucking hell what a cool gesture! The party erupts from the couple of beers to really nasty lot of vodka/little soda drinks. A great gear up for this two month massacre.

22nd of April - Hannover, Germany
Joinus: Hannover was a really cool place. We started out trying to get Emils computer to work in order to write some new songs. The first beer tasted really good today. So we had a few until the whole thing was over. During the influence we had to have some backstage wrestling and it was a success. At least WE thought so...hahaha!!

Emil: Today I woke up again by having my right leg cramp up this time, what the fuck is going on!? Still hating it... The venue this day had 2 buildings, one for the backstage and one for the concert hall. The backstage was pretty big so I set up my laptop and Joinus connected his guitar to it so we could try to work with new songs for the upcoming devian album but as always with my luck with technical stuff it didn..t work... I brought a external soundcard but it seems to be some interferance with it so after sitting for 5 hours trying desparately to make it work (with a lot of help from Fotis the drummer of SEPTIC FLESH), I gave up. The party this evening was nice, we all partied with the other bands and we had a local act this evening (CRIPPER) that we send out a cheers too for being really cool!

Tomas: Hannover was a real nice venue, the stage was kind of big but not the place itself. I think it was the best show SO FAR and the local support, called CRIPPER, was really cool! Later they told me that they had recently sign to a swedish label good luck in the future :). Joinus and Roberth were looking really awesome on the stage this night and Legion once again spoke in German with the crowd so I didnt understand a shit of what he was talking about between the songs, haha!

Legion: The hayfever is eating my fucking face alive. Beaty little eyes and burning throat aaarrrggghhh!! After picking up some pills things are getting better. The gig is killer, I..m a sweaty happy mess having a drink watching Vader fucking annihilate the crowd. Yep they are still a machine...

23rd of April - Enschede, Holland
Emil: So far the smallest place to play. The stage is minimalistic and VADER have their own backline (another setup of drums and amps for those that aren..t familiar with the term) which makes this really tough tonight. I guess that it will be chaotic since the capacity of the place could be around 250 (my guess) which is pretty small. It was hard to breath in the venue since they didn..t have any ventilation it seemed and everyone smoked cigarettes and other things that makes Holland so special. They also served non-alcoholic beer in the backstage, nice...

Legion: Holland is as pittoresque and accomodating as always. The non mistakingly smell of sweet leafs and happy go lucky metalheads is dead on Holland Disneyland for adults haha! The club is small with slamdancing screaming lunatics which brings a great live experience. The beers and hair is just flying in your face and the sweat keeps pumping. We finish the night with friends at Rocks, a tiny metal pub with a great atmosphere. Hahaha good times!!!

Tomas: My first visit in Holland... People here are really nice and helpfull. The stage tonight was very small, but we worked our asses off just a usual and our reward were a nice moshpit in the front, the best reward you can have when you are standing on the stage. After the gig people from a organization called Atak, if my memory serves me well, took us to their club house the nice bar called the Rock. If you ever go to Enschede in Holland then go to the Rock and order the Toasters, they are fuckin amazing! Well, having the time of my life so far and things will only get better I think ;)

Joinus: I agree with the rest of the guys. Holland is cool and the people there are awesome. Enschede is also the home of the mighty Pestilence. A huge influence in my guitar playing and I was hoping to see Martin van Drunen and give him an ode to a nameless grave at the gig but I dont think he was there. I hade problems with my effectpedal today and this I noticed during the first song when i was about to do a solo lick. The volume just went up like hell. So if I was playing on ten (which I always do) it went up to fucking twenty. The crowd was awesome. A really nice little moshpit in the front of the stage. Emil beat the crap out of the drums this night. He did a really cool thing hes never done before in Suffer the Fools I think. I was so amazed by it I got like lots of extra energy and banged my head faster than ever before. Looking like Super Mario when he gets one of those stars ;0)

24th of April - Haarlem @ Patronaat, Holland
Emil: Nice big venue, a really professional place. During the day we all did some weightlifting besides Joinus, I think he is afraid of growing muscles. We had a killer show and did an webzine-interview shortly after that. Discussing new songs concepts for the upcoming album with the other guys. The vibe was really great so the beers kept flowing and after I showered I felt pretty wasted. We went outside the building for some fresh air and I had to piss so, I decided to do a 360 turn while peeing, very mature I know but I try to compensate my otherwise very Grown up life by behaving like a 15 year old. I had a nice party at the bus afterwards with the other bandmembers.

Legion: What a fucking place to play. True to their nature dutchmen makes sure you..re short of nothing. Big turn out, mad show and crazy night. Its the night of people passing out and making a mess. A night of weird laughter and fucked up behaviour. Its a night of Emil fucking pissing on me!! I guess we..re even from the time I puked in his hair after Gary from Pro-Pain got me way too wasted hahaha!! Great night, great stuff HOLLAND!!!

Tomas: Patronaat is the first big venue and today we got the best food so far on the tour; french fries with chicken. There was a lot of people in the crowd and I really think that we did our best fuckin performance so far! We are really getting together as a fuckin panzer division on the stage and it feels so cool to bang my head with these guys and just see them go crazy. The first night I went to bed early and of course Emil had to finish off his evening by jumping in my bed and tried to tickle the shit out of me.

25th of April - Leeuwarden @ Romein, Holland
Emil: Finally a backstage that we don..t need to share with all the smoking people! We got our musicprogram cubase to work now so we are up and recording new ideas for the upcoming Devian album. This called for celebration and me and tomas got pretty smashed and decided to go a nearby pub after the show. We also managed to wrestle at the towns square, he won since he weights 1000 kilos more than me but I bitchslapped him after that which I was pretty satisfied with.

Legion: Hahaha Tomas wins the prize for best party! Standing on top of the seats in the auditorium look alike venue drinking directly from a keg screaming like a lunatic he..s bar none partyanimal tonight. Back at the bus Emil and Tomas is supposed to be wrestling but drunk and disorderly Emil smacks Tomas over the face so hard that his glasses flies off and to return the favour Tomas bodyslams Emil and keeps pounding on him to the by-standers great amusement. I..m trying to take pictures of the less than amicable debacle but is laughing so hard that I..m almost pissing my pants!!

Tomas: Okay... I had my first day off from the booze yesterday so I thought I could get some beers today, I got a little bit more than that... First of all I meet Beannaca, a friend from myspace that I didnt had expected to show up at all. Then something happend after I had spoken to a girl called Christine, the elflday I felt the anmial inside rising and then the evening got out of hand. Suddenly I was standing beside Emil and Legion and was drinking beer from the the keg screaming. Beannaca invited me and Emil for a afterparty at a local pub but before that I had wrestled down Emil. After I had beatebn the shit out of him the little bitch fuckin bitchslap me... I mean, arent we supposed to be men???

26th of April - Antwerpen @ Hof Ter Lo, Belgium
Emil: The hangover...slept most of the day and later on greeted our belgian friends Valerie (Mystica, Emeth) Evelien, Aleksey and Rebekka from our street team. Today it was a festival with like 10 bands! General Sergery were also on the bill which are good friends of ours so it was cool to meet up with Jocke, Adde and Erik Sahlstrm. Legion and Robert were working out today, it just hurt watching them do that since I had a headache. The show was good, some minor mistake with the sound, probably a cableglitch but we did good.

Legion: Having a great time meeting up with tons of mates, sowing circle gossping with my bro Rob I haven..t seen in ages. Workout in leatherpants and boots again, hmm remembering reading Gene Simmons bio about how he thought you..re a poser if you dress in casualwear, he used to jog with his jewellery and leatherpants on.. haha either I..m damaged by old heroes or else the infamous touring don..t-give-a-shitness is starting to sink in...Thanks Antwerps for a great night!!

Tomas: No fucking hangover??? Thats fucking impossbile!!! I started this day with loading off the backline with the crew and Legion. The tour is doing amazing things with the body haha! After the shower I meet up with Rebeeca from Kult of the Serpent, the Devian street team, and went for a long walk. Evelynn brought us some beers too for the afterparty but I had my second white day so. It was really nice to meet up with the Swedes of General Surgery. It was really nice to be back in Belgium again!

27th of April - Leeds @ Rio s, UK
Emil: A Sunday and people are partying like maniacs over here, totally bizarre! I expected that tonight's show would be a disaster 'cause it's a Sunday but it was a lot of people at the venue so thumbs up for Leeds! 'It's against the law to smoke here' is one of my new favourite signs!

Legion: I'm having a fuck all zombie day, except for the obligatory get up in the middle of the night walking through customs my day is a long row of Zzzzzz's. Shaping up with coffee just before the show and get the adrenalin going. Having a great time on stage, the tiny place is packed and the atmosphere is high. The afterparty this night fucking rocks haha!

Tomas: Fuck... I thought the toilet was broken so I stayed in my bed all the day till we got in to Leeds. I think I was peeing for like 2 minutes and it was the best thing that I did today. I was pretty surprised that so many people showed up. Special hails to the front row banger in a marduk shirt that bought me a beer after the show!

Joinus: Aaaahh...England. I love England. It has spawned so many great bands. First time I'm here playing and I've heard the English people can be pretty cold to metal bands but that wasn't the deal here. Nice amount of people even thought it was a Sunday.

Roberth: Damn Its raining cats and fucking dogs yeah.. UK..The first week has past on the tour.. its been a hell of a ride with vodka, beers, cool gigs, arm wrestling and fighting!! I love this! ! Today I am gonna have my first nondrinking-day... I hope it will end quick.. over and out.

28th of April - Nottingham @ Rock City, UK
Emil: This night we had a really nice respond from people and it seems that we got ourselves some new fans. That is the beauty of this tour, new fans for a new band. I've toured allot before with Marduk and every evening you have fans for sure, now, the fanscale just keeps growing and growing! Too bad that I felt ill after the show, feverish and caught a cold. Early to bed this night.

Legion: The club looks like a dungeon, my kind of place! I'm spending the day out on the city with my mates Jen and Vicky. I've got skincrawls and my hunger is gone even though I can really feel that I'm short of energy, closing the zipper seems to be too hard a task...Forcing down Burger King things start to feel better and back at the place we meet up with Massaker from Kult ov the Serpent. The stage is no bigger than a living room carpet and we're standing on top of each other blasting away but the barrier to the crowd is great to climb on and I'm thrashing with the crowd point blank zero where the Nottingham metalheads are nuts and loud!

Tomas: I didn't sleep that well last night and my back hurt a bit after the bed too. So I wasn't that up to do another gig and the stage was very small too. Later when we got up on the stage Legion was a fuckin' maniac so he kind of dragged me into the inferno and I suddenly find myself banging and playin like a beast from hell. It was a nice evening and very good food too. It was nice to meet Adam too before we started to load the trailer with the backline.

29th of April - London @ Underworld, UK
Emil: Tried to find a laundry service at camden street...no luck. Had fish & chips for the first time, it wasn't anything special really. I've noticed that people eat a lot of fries over here, healthy? No. Good? No. Today it is Joinus birthday so we'll see if we can do something special for him. The show was amazing, people were fucking nuts, still I had to take it a bit steady with the partying 'cause of my cold. Early night in other words...

Legion: Hell yeah fucking London!! I love this city and the babylonic Camden town! I start with beer at the Worlds End where the sweet bartenderess is taking the piss out of me for wanting to drink Carlsberg haha. Its Joinus birthday and I keep ignoring him pretending to have forgotten all about it. My scheme is to pick up a cake and throw it at him onstage but I fail to get something messy enough in time for the show grrrr tough break now I'm just a fucker that didn't congratulate my friend. A picture of me is hanging on the wall of the venue next to a steady line of metal Greats, I'm humbled to say the least!! Roast beef and yorkshire pudding!! First tequila on the road!! Jaeger!! Big massive hails to the London metal militia for the show, our best one so far on the tour and response is un-fucking-believable!! London town we'll be back a lot sooner than later!!!

Tomas: Joinus birthday!!! I start the celebration by cutting him off for the toilet, doing a number 2 and using all the paper at the gas station where we woke up...Happy Birthday Joinus!!! After that we watched a horror movie in the bus. My back still hurted today, but it was a little bit better though. The venue looked really cool even though it was kind of small. Legion and I went for Burger King to get a internet connection so we could updated the myspace and check some personal stuff. The gig then.... it was so fuckin' amazing! I think we did our best show so far this night and the response was fuckin excellent too! Now I really now why they call the venue the Underworld... it was just demons and beasts in the crowd and they kicked ass for real. Cheers mates!

Joinus: London on my 31:st birthday. What a town to spend ones birthday. Camden town is amazing. All the interesting people and the cool underworld club. We had a hell of a show and the crowd was wild.

30th of April - Jumet / Charleroi @ Maison De Tous, Belgium
Emil: Much more energetic today! We had a good show (as usual) and had fun with people showing up. Our Kult of the Serpent team was there and we had a high intake of alcohol which I really enjoyed! Tomas was soo fucking drunk and asked everyone to fuck off in his friendly way, that's nice of him...

Legion: Today my head is fucking with me, I'm snail slow, thoughts are clogging up, I'm a ditzy idiot shrouded in mist. 'You look like shit!' my friend Evelien tells me when she shows. Thanks, I can imagine. Today I do the Rotting Christ cover 'A Sorrowful Farewell' together with my mates Mystica, haha I guess neither me nor their vocalist Bart knows what we're doing but it was fun! Good show and crazy people, the pit goes wild already from our opener Dressed in Blood!! I'm calm at the afterparty, just a bunch of beers together with Rebecca and the other Serpents til tour manager Darek comes along. 'I'm chilling' I goes. 'No no no no no Legion, we'll do it polish style' The polish way is straight vodka, I litteraly crawl off to bed after we've killed the one liter bottle...

Tomas: Okay Belgium again. It's always very cool to play in Belgium cause so far we have gotten such a nice respond from the the people there so I always look forward to going back there. We meet up with the Kult of the Serpent members again and Rebecca had bought some new clothes to me too and she had passed her driver's exam today too!!! In Antwerpen I had a very calm and relaxing evening so this evening I was already drinking beer on the stage and fuck.... this was one of the best shows so far!!! Lots of people recognize us from Namrock festival and that was very nice. I hung out with some friends from myspace too and just drank a lot of beers and vodka. Later I got a nice revenge on Emil. I started to bitchslap him for last fight in Holland and later when he was sleeping I poured a bottle of beer over him when he was laying in his bed and said Sleep tight love. So Belgium.... gonna keep some beers for us till the next time?

Jonas: Me, Emil and Robert went to do some laundry. Didnt go very well since we had trouble getting Jeton. We really needed Jeton bad. After meeting a nice lady we got some help getting jeton. There was much rejoicing getting some nice jeton. After the laundry the party began. So much many groggs so little time. Nice meeting up with Rebecca, Evelynn and Kris from the Serpent Kult. Thanks for taking care of us while in Belgium. Many Jetons and Groggs to you. Cheers

1st of May - Paris @ La Locomotive, France
Emil: We started out with a stressful load in 'cause the bus wasn't allowed to stay outside the venue. Later we did a couple of interviews with one radiostation and a couple of webzines. Me and Legion went to check out the erotique museum a couple of meters away and 5 minutes after entering he remembered that he had to do an interview so 8 euros wasted he left me to explore a interesting 7 floor museum of sex. There was a big collection of bizarre art gathered from all around the world. It was also nice to meet up with my best friend in Paris Isabelle. We have a tradition to eat crepe's with nutella everytime we meet up in Paris but today we broke the tradition with some ice-cream. The show was....just incredibly amazing! Just crazy...I think that London and Paris has been the most crazy shows to sum it up so far. After the show we discussed about the sexdolls you can buy....the ones that you can get made that look like a real person. Imagine having one that looks like your best friends girlfriend and having sex with it. You think your friend would appreciate that? It's almost that I wish to try to do it but whom's? :)

Legion: I wake up from the phone ringing, it's my kids fighting over the phone at the other end of the line. 'Daddy are you yelling like a monster today?','Be loud','Emil is cute', 'We miss you!'. I love my kids to death!! We drive up the Pigalle, the Redlight district, to the La Loco, a club cool enough to be the setting in a Mad Max movie. There are already people waiting outside with posters, pictures, Devian and Marduk CD's!! Paris has always been my kind of town, the metal crowd here treats you like their own. Warm-blooded and big hearted!! No visit to Jim Morrisons grave today or anything else really, the day just flies by. The concert today is just what the hell I have deleted this sentence several times now, I can't describe it. Paris I just fucking love you!!! We're among friends from the intro goes on, people are screaming, chanting, fist banging, slamdancing, staring like hungry great whites, singing along, fuck me dead it's metal heaven!! I stagedive more times than I can remember, get thrown up on stage and hit my lower back on the monitor, fuck it, like I care if it hurts on a night like this!! Dive again!!! Right now I'm a sweaty passed out mess in the backstage, I'm on vocal rest for today, which means I'll shut the fuck up till tomorrow. I'm off for meet and greets and hang out some with the fiendish metalheads in the venue. Paris thank you so fucking much!!!

Tomas: Today I gave a 2-euro coin to a beggar and he smiled. France is really cool and the venue and the people have been fuckin awesome. We sold a shitload of merch today so I guess that means that people liked our show! Today I did Spanish version of the Ninewinged Serpent solo. I got so excited that I throw out the pick to the crowd and then played half of the solo with just my fingers like a freakin' mariachi. Joinus and I did some really cool headbanging together today and I also visited Rob today on the stage. Legion was a maniac today. I think he stagedived like 6-7 times during the whole set! Paris... we want to come back NOW!!!

Joinus: Paris!!!! I was here just recently so it was like coming home again. We went to Sacre Ceur and viewed the whole town from there. Went back with tired feet. Did a killer show much thanks to an incredible audience! Thanks Paris!!!!

2nd of May - Notre-Dame-De-Gravenchon @ L' Arcade, France
Emil: I had no clue where we were today when I woke up. We don't have the name of the towns on our backstage passes-like it usually is, so if we got an internet connection we do check from time to time to be updated! Anyway, since we had a great deal of time before doing the show we decided to work on some new songs. To bad that nothing works smoothly when it comes to technology (again). I'll spare you of all details but let's just say that Legion got me screaming at him for not being the fastest one in the block. So over in all, we got to finish two songs and we are working our way to a complete 2nd album. The show was great, the people there were a killer-audience and after the show I discovered for the 2nd time that French people for some reason don't use hot showers. Coooold as I don't know what but it was a pain in the ass...

Legion: Emil is anxious to get going with the song writing to say the least haha! Being the artist soul that he is, shit is bottled up inside him just having to come out before he throws a fit. "Are you ever gonna find the files!?" he stresses between grinding teeth, having problems standing still as I browse through our pre production. The skeleton for Devian II is drawn up and we add on to it on all levels on a daily basis now. Thank you Notre Dame metal maniacs for a great night! The aftermath I spend with el Coronel, our sound tech Fabricio, drinking up the jug of wine that the promoter gave us. What a buzz!!

Tomas: When I woke up today I thought I was at camping or something like that. The place looked like a camping place and a youth centre and they actually had a bowling place too. Today we recorded one of my songs to the forthcoming album too and it turned out really great. Right now we call that one Tomas' Megaman song. Anyway... lots of metalheads showed up and I mean France, you are so fuckin good to us. We got a moshpit in the first song and people were slam dancing and people started to stage dive and shit too! It was a calm evening for man I feel asleep with my mp3 player on.

3rd of May - Annecy @ Brise Glace, France
Emil: Eye dropping environment all around us, we arrive at a club that has beach just 60 meters away from it! The weather's beautiful with 27c in the air. Even though I've still got a cold me and Joinus pep talks each other to jump into the Laguna-blue water and its freezing! The town nearby is just like a cosy medieval village with old buildings and nice architecture, I stop at a pharmacy to pick up some medicine and on top of that I also eat a 5 flavour ice-cream, 2 of the flavours are snickers and nutella, weird but absolutely delicious! In the venue we had so far the best breakfast and dinner on this tour. Nutritious and healthy food just as I like it and we got to share backstage with Vader (smoke free), YEEII!!!! It felt so good to not have to share room with the smoking Geeks (no offence Septic and Innactive guys), it was possible to breath for the first time on this tour!

Legion: "A rotten moral is better than no moral at all". Robs joke on double standards shoots through my head as the hangover sweat breaks my skin. "The jug is empty?" someone shouts. "Oh man, mean Legion drank it all" Fabricio pants. His ill facial expression feels like looking in a mirror hahaha. We're up in the French Alps, the city Annecy is drop dead amazing and we recover at the beach. I know I start to sound like a broken record on the gigs but how can I not when things are like this? Circle pit, screaming lunatics, stage dives, madness haha hell yeah!! The Desperados taste great as I hug and "thank you" my way through the venue hanging out with the French metalheads. I end the night by killing vodka with Peter of Vader talking the talk two long-time friends that can agree on a lot of things talk.

Tomas: A beautiful little town today! The food, the staff, the people and everything were outstanding! Emil, Roberth and Jonas took their first swim in the water today too, even though the looked like they were freezing their asses off!!! Special cheers for the after party offer that we got but had to turn down due to the long bus drive that started a few hours after midnight.

4th of May - FR Niort @ Camji, France
Emil: My cold has just gotten worse, I cough like a maniac, sneeze all the time and the head apparently decided to have a splendid headache all day. Lovely! But, the venue is in my taste, a bit castle-like halls and vault make me go: "yeah, I could live here". That amusement is shortly ended when I discovered after the show that we have no hot showers AGAIN! Now I loose it...I get so pissed off trying to shower that the shower itself gets a bit demolished, I throw my things out from the shower and asks the others to do an attempt, I can't do it, it's too fucking cold.

Legion: Sauna like temperatures wake me up as I realize I've slept with my clothes, including my hooded sweatshirt, onaaarrrggghhh I'm fucking soaking!! The south French sun is turning the bus into a steaming oven and I'm quick to get out with my hair dripping. The venue is beyond nice, a chateu like place with water running over the premises, as always the French catering is nicer than oral sex, as always there is red wine for breakfast fucking yummy!! The pre-stage tiredness today is wicked, normally the body gets real slow before sucking up energy, today I pass out backstage, when the intro goes on the world is distorted, I see in slow motion, my heartbeat bangs through my head. With a clap on my back from our road crew captain Piotr I run out on stage and explode.

Tomas: Fuck, my strap locks broke today so I had to play "Remnant Song" holding my guitar with my hands and play. In" Ninewinged Serpent" I had to stand like a dumb statue due to this shit! The second gig that we spent with Vader backstage. I love no-smoking back stages !!!! First day off tomorrow, interesting?!

5th of May - Day off in Fouras, France
Emil: Spent most of the day just trying to rest, I'm all sweaty and sick... Joinus and Roberth are kind enough to check out a laundry service and help me wash my clothes. Thanks guys! Fabricio get his ass kicked by Fotis which is pretty hilarious since he is so drunk.

Legion: We're in four as next to the Fort Boyard by the sea, a fortress out on the water where celebrities made asses out of themselves in a crappy television show. Waking up with Rambo III, taking a boat trip at sea watching the fortresses and just dreaming away. Like Immolation being the most underrated band in Metal, Metallica being the most overrated but Hetfield has a point with "...where I lay my head is home". raison d'etre, loving the life on the road, my children, Pelle Dead..s scrawling on the wall of an abandoned house in the woods of Norway, raison d'etre....

Tomas: Went to Fort Boyard with the crew, Vader and Legion and Emil. Nice to see the place in real life since I have only seen it on TV before. I watched Robocop and Gunmo today too; I have really missed watching movies lately! After some bottles of wine Fotis (SEPTIC FLESH), Seth (SEPTIC FLESH) and Fabricio (crew) wrestled on the parking lot. Fabricio was so drunk and was really stubborn but still got beaten up. Later when we were going to sleep Fabricio last words was Fotis tomorrow I will fuck your snare and Seth I'm gonna high pitch your vocals so it sounds like shit! I bred him with a bottle of water so Devian will sound killer tomorrow, especially the lead guitar ;)

6th of May - Durango @ Plateruena, Spain
Emil: Still ill....I can't believe it. Looks like it's hard to get better by sleeping in a hot bus where there is not much fresh air. Nice to have a sunny day, just chilling in the sun and doing the usual show that we do. Nothing fancy about this place.

Legion: Rob has a weird fascination for cattle fecies. "Dungcool", "That's so dunghard!". The cowshit related expressions is flying constantly, happy as hell he bursts "Dunggold!!" hahaha! We're in Basque country, doing a cool show in a venue where the stage is built up like a flight of stairs that separates the crowd from the band. "Are you ready?" I peptalk backstage jumping around like a Grover of Sesame Street. "Dungprep" Rob replies stretching his Anaconda like arms in the air. I find myself running up and down out amongst the metalheads bridging the border as much as I can. Metal is about so much more than music. It's spirit. Friendship. Borderless territory. Regardless of going to a new city, country, continent where everything cultural and languewise is too different to explain Metalpeople is still the same. In the bus it's a pack of likeminded souls travelling together. The music is pumping out of the stereo, the sound of bottles opening. The Polish laugh loud and the "Kourrrrwa!!"..s are flying. The Greeks gather round in a hectic debate way they go "Malaka Malaka Malaka!!!". The Swedes go "Fan!""Helvete!""Skl fr fan!!" and over all the noise I hear Rob screaming in his cell phone to his girlfriend "I fucking dunglove you!!!" Hahaha!! World without end...

Tomas: I'm feeling kind of sick today. I phone my parents and find out that I have an invitation for a wedding at home in August. The venue had like stair in front of the stage and Legion did some really cool crustcore moves today. It almost felt like a gig with Aktiv Ddshjlp hahaha!

Jonas: Ok, the first day in Spain. My expectations are high. I want sun and I want beer. I and Tomas start off by taking a long walk through the nice little town of Durango. Realize there's pharmacias in every corner. Guess there a lot of sick people in this town. Looks very good for our show then...we need sick people starting moshpits and shit. Ok, back from the walk the ice-cold beer is a great friend and friendship should be cherished. The gig was ok apart from the stairs in front of the stage which kinda scared away the audience. We did our best convincing we are da shit and according to some people we talked to after the gig we were da shit.

7th of May - Santander @ Artmusic, Spain
Emil: Fucking hell! I don't know where to start when it comes to describing this place. Moisty, smelly toilets, worst food on the tour (spaghetti and eggs) and water coming in through the ceiling. Damn...but guess what? We had fun anyway and did a killer show, it felt great to play to those that chose to come to the show instead of watching the important local soccer game that occurred on the same day.

Legion: It's a steamy hot day out on the Spanish countryside. Two important football games are being played today, a sure red flag for the Spaniards to not go to a metalshow. "The only thing that could be worse now is if it would start raining" I tell tourmanager Darek. 20 minutes later the rain is pouring, humidity is so thick the air can be cut with a knife. We're on. My stagejacket is stolen. Barechested tonight then. I go bonkers jumping into the front row. "Splash!!" Water is pouring in, the ceiling is dripping and a steady stream from the wall has turned the floor in front of the stage into a pool!! As we finish we have the first powerout. Septic Flesh is being shrouded in silence and darkness more than once. Vader blast away. Three songs later the sound breaks down. "Kurwa!!!!" Darey stands up behind the kit looking like 7 miseries. The interruption in the set is mere minutes but believe me standing on stage it feels like an aeon. We are all in high spirit though. This is touring in a nutshell. Murphys Law. The show must go on. Give the ones that came out a night they will never forget. The bus is rolling once again. Peters Ipod is on shuffle with the good old stuff. Motorhead. Judas Priest. Rob and Joinus already on another planet haha! "Are you guys ever gonna shut up and go to bed?!" Fabricio yells from his bunk. NO!!! Hahahaha!!

Tomas: A real kick ass show today. The sound guys had been playing Disfear all the day so I told Emil that he really had to play so D-beats on the show today and so he did!!! Haha fuckin great bro! Peter dedicated a song to Devian today and that was a huge honour for me and after the show he invited us to an after party up stairs on the bus with a lot of vodka and beer! I went to bed early because I'm starting to get Emil's flue and when I was laying in my bunker I heard Peter putting on the Ninewinged Serpent album and , started to talk about it I just feel asleep with a big smile

Joinus: This was a really cool place. All the odds were against this gig. But alcohol solves a lot of problems like shitty food and leaking ceilings. Me and my drinking buddy Roberth hooked up on Malibu drinks right after the gig and started up a mosh during the Vader gig. Later we end the night with Peter in the back of the bus declaring once again metal is the only way along to the tunes of Motrhead, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. Was I drunk?? Yes. Did I fall asleep sitting up drooling (probably)?? Yes.

Robert: This day was the real deal for me, listening to Disfear all the day at the punkrock-kinda place we were gonna play at, I really was prepared to drink more then I was made for, and so I did, the gig was not the funniest, but I always enjoy playing live, after the gig and the "no shower" I drank as a crazy motherfucker, Joinas and I of course.. smoked 2 packs of "giftpinnar" and was sailing in to the funeral fog.. Later on Joinas and I banged our heads to Satan the whole VADER-show, I even stagedived... ha ha.. Peter really enjoyed our Swedish drinking and screaming, so later on we sat and drunken Vodka with him and Legion and a couple of other guys, I was the last man standing!! A very proud one, ha ha ha!! Skl!!

8th of May - Porto @ Cinema Batalha, Portugal
Emil: Waking up just before we get to venue I feel the urge to really have to piss. And if the bus is stationed near a venue we're not allowed to piss on the bus toilet so finally when it stops I run out and go terminator-mode on the place! I can't find a toilet! Desperately asking staff working there they try to point me in a direction where it's only maze look-alike halls and I get all confused thinking if I just should give up, stand still and just relieve everything, what the hell, I smell like piss anyway so what would be the difference!? I try taking a couple of more steps until I find a door that leads to a....BATHROOM! "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" I yell to myself. This feeling must be better than sex (in some weird way). Later on when I got to be more of a human than earlier, I, Legion and Tomas were about to do a radio-interview and our Kult of the Serpent leader Rui also joined up with us. I've never met up with him before or even talked over the net, that is mainly Legion and Tomas cup of tea, I just do the music J. So when the interview was launched we gave them our answers and Even Rui answered the question what the Kult of the Serpent is about. He went on about that it's a fan based community that likes to push a band upwards and get other people to discover them. HE also mentioned how much Devian means to him and that he feels that the band has something strong going and he just kept going doing some really great promotion for us on the radio interview! I was just stunned by his words since I've never heard anyone talk this way about my ours band! His honest words went straight to the heart and I could feel a certain proudness that I didn't experience before. He inspired me to do even more music than before and it was a truly honour for me to meet him, so Rui, all respect to you bro!

Legion: Porto again! Never had a bad time in this city! We meet up with our dear brother Rui from the Devian streetteam Kult ov the Serpent. Guys like this deserve all the respect. Breaking their back for the appreciation of what we've created. One often forgets the machine that is behind the guys in the limelight. Like Rui. Organizing, promoting, always on watch. Like our crew Fabricio, Darek, our stage techs Adam and Piotr. These guys get up early start hauling heavy shit, build the stage, and get to eat a sandwich, connect the equipment, supervise and stage the soundcheck. Throughout all of the show they are on watch to make sure that equipment and artists are always A-OK. After the show they dismount all the stuff, haul everything out back again, and pack it up. Maybe have a shot and then jump into bed only to repeat the procedure next day again and again. Tough guys, class acts that I and every other travelling musician is completely dependant on to get the job done. They deserve a ton of respect. Yours too.

Tomas: Porto for the first time then... Meet up with Rui from the kult, a really nice guy that has given us a lot of respect and been a real dedicated fan and brother. It was freaking hot on the stage today and I think it will only get worse the more south we are moving. My stagejacket gonna be my death! It was really fun to meet all the fans in Porto, really cool guys and girls and I hope we gonna be back here soon and kick some more ass. We gonna raise the flag tomorrow too!

Joinus: Portugal. The venue was in a nice little town right next to a cathedral which looked really Portuguese. Hooked up with Rui, our Kulthead. It was so nice to meet you. So down to earth and just a cool guy. Everlasting thanks for your support. We went on stage too early. At least according to the people we talked to after the gig. So some metalheads didn't get a chance to see us. Well, hopefully this wasn't the last time Porto!!!

Robert: Ok, Porto, allot of skateboard jerks is the first thing I saw this day!!! But outside the bus he was, RUI!!, meeting up with Rui was cool, really nice guy!

9th of May - Corroios @ Cine Teatro Corroios, Portugal
Emil: Friday. Feeling a bit better but the Greeks are starting to get the cold, they blame me I blame others, the mood is great today. I feel that I've been sober all to long and decide to open up a beer around 4 PM. It's sunny and I Roberth and Joinus take a seat nearby a soccer field just chilling and having a couple of beers. Going to the venue on the other side of the field people gather up for tonight's show. When it's about time to go on stage people chant and are ready for us! We have a really professional soundguy on stage and during our set he's doing the best to take care of everyone on stage, I think he runs over to me 2 times during the show to make sure that I have good sound, wow, the best soundguy on stage ever!! Legion is just hilariously energetic, the crowd is fucking wild and he gets them probably even wilder with his Portuguese flag, waving like a maniac. The vibe is the best and really get into it so the last part in the last song I play standing up (wasn't that easy though), brutal brutal show! Afterparty was great! We had a lot of beers and signed and took photos with fans. Rui was at this show too so he joined us until 6 in the morning at the bus, the last thing we did was watching a guy on youtube doing handfarts, he was really good so I advice you to check him out. Can't remember the search word but try "handfart the trooper"

Legion: "I can't fucking believe your level of professionalism" a guy holler in my ear after the show. "I've seen you in front of 50 000 at Wacken and now you're in front of 500 with the same energy, that's fucking amazing man!!" Of corpse!! The show we've just finished was pure fucking thrill, the crowd was insane. I'm downing beers with Emil, Rui and attending maniacs banging my head to Vader who is performing godly slaughter on stage hahaha hell yeah!! But he has a point, that's the drill. You gig like no tomorrow or else the band might not get a tomorrow. My best friend Tommy was a rough crazy bastard. He managed to get himself killed at the age of 31. I cried my eyes out at his funeral. My buddy Matte cleaned up his act to be a better father, O.D...d and died on his own kitchen floor. He was 28. My friend the Finn had cancer eat him to the bone, he fought it for two years and died at 27. My childhood friends Fred and Rick died boating when we were in our teens. If it's one thing life has taught me its this Live like no tomorrow, because you might not get a tomorrow. Regardless of the sombre rant Thank you so much Portugal for your hospitality and good times, see you soon!!

Tomas: My illness is getting worse. Today when I woke up I couldn't hear anything on my right ear and my nose was so full of shit so I could hardly breathe. Rui shows up again and this time he brought me some medicine and since the breakfast was out when I got to the venue he took me downtown to get some pizza instead, yeah the lifestyle on tour is really healthy. I had almost lost all energy I had before the show but when we started to play the first tunes of Dressed in Blood I felt some energy coming back. The crowd were fuckin amazing this night! They started a moshpit right away when they saw Legion waving with the flag! I finished up Ninewinged Serpent kneeling before the crowd to a choir of people screaming You rule man, Devian is the best fuckin band ever, Give me your pick!!! It was one of the highlights on the tour so far! After the show I went to the bus and went online for a few hours, I just needed to catch my breath and be alone and rebuild up my energy. After the load out I found a shower and first it was freezing but it later turned out that someone or something heard my cries and the water started to be hot like hell! Special thanks to the local crew that worked for us and Rui of course! I hope us coming back to Portugal very soon!!!!

Joinus: Start the day pretty early with beer near a soccer field drinking beer (oh I said that once already) playing the word game with nearby sightings. So if I say "field" the next person has to say a word that starts with "d". The beer tasted really good in the sun and the more they went down the lesser words came to mind in our little game. Great show today. The soundguy was awesome and drove me, Tomas and Rui to golden arches after the show. Thanks for that man!!! We played "Instigator" this evening as a tribute to all the work Rui does for us. Hope you liked it dude!!!! Once again, nice hooking up with you!!!!

Robert: This Friday was great, started with blue sky and a beautiful sun, yeeaha!! Beerdrinkingonthegreengrass-weather!! Me and Joinus scared a little shop owner, ha ha. "no we are not gonna steeeeeeaaaal anything" only buy some smokes...and we did, and relaxed in the sun a couple of hours with Emil.... nice nice nice.!! And the show was great as hell, I headbanged like if I would have been trying to get rid of my head, and maybe I did somehow cause I don't remember so much more about that night.. oh, yes I talked to a guy and his brother, really cool metalheads, I gave them some FACEBREAKER-shit, hope it fits their taste.. oh.. fuck, I did get a message on my cell phone.... "you have used your phone till a cost of 500 euro"..... damn......" so now we will turn it of till you pay an extra bill" fuck fuck fuck fuck..... I live by the phone, and I will die by the phone....

10th of May - Sevilla @ Sala Q, Spain
Emil: Meant to take it easy at first but the weekend spirit woke me up and told me it's Saturday, party? Hell yeah! And goddamn people where crazy this evening, a couple of Spanish fans told us to catch up to an afterparty at a pub after the show so the part of the crew, the Greeks, the (In)Vader's and of course the Devian..s drove to the pub. We were in no hurry, the bus were leaving at 6AM. We rode in 3 cars and I think we were like 15 people in the Greeks van, crazy partying in other words! I love this pulse where everything closes like 7AM which never would occur in Sweden, therefore I felt this was an occasion that I couldn't miss up. Meeting and greeting with metalpeople in a crowded bar was one of the greatest evenings on this tour. Back at the bus I joined up with Daray and Adam (the drumtech) and ate dried sausage, Novy put some 1920th music on and we partied on. I and Fabricio had a discussion about the culture-differences in the world and the tour life in general until 7.30 in the morning. Damn...I'll sleep loooong....

Legion: Piotr is looking at my sprained ankle with a crooked smile. "Legion, what is up with your foot? You are walking like Robocop" haha yep. Thank divine powers for adrenalin, onstage yesterday I barely felt a thing, no problem stagediving or jumping, just the hours after the gig is a real pain in the ass...Best show in Spain so far! I'm happy and aching backstage killing the pain with a shot when Vader go silent on stage. Daray is running by with a slashed hand from which the blood is dripping. Patched up with band aids and duct-tape he goes up again and finishes the job. The show must go on. Our aftershow bottle of Finlandia is gone within minutes. The Greeks has hauled the seats out of their van and half of the bus is sitting in it, local metalheads are teaming up with cars let's fucking party!!! Our cortege of death drives to a local metalbar that shows us such a mad time. After watching our order habits and behaviour the bartender shakes his head and puts up the Vodka bottles on the bar counter wooo-hooooo hahahaha!!! The world is shrouded in a haze. All the bands are going crazy. Tomorrow will be hell. Fuck it the show must go on...

Tomas: Well Emil has just gotten better so the only thing he's whining about is drinking. He is so up for drinking so starts to talk to some local people that invite us all to a pub downtown. He is so thrilled about that he forgets to pack his own stuff into the bus. I'm still sick so I'm not up to join the party crew to the town but when Legion and Peter (Vader) join the others then I can't be the one sitting in the bus surfing on the Net, like Roberth did this night. Joinus get thrilled when he sees that I've join the party crew so we start with breaking off spearheads from a cool fence near the bar. Novy (Vader) gets so jealous about this so before we hit the ride to the bus I bring him to the fence and break another one for him and he keeps telling me Hahaha fuck it man you must be so fuckin' strong! And due to all the beers and shoots I drank so quickly the only thing I can reply with is - I am Viking and I pillage and plunder the things I want!!! About the show then.... I think this was the best show in Spain so far Nice stage and insane crowd too! In general this night taught me that Spanish girls are beautiful!

11th of May - Almeria @ El Roquero, Spain
Emil: Started out really lazy today, for some weird reason the show is scheduled late and it's a Sunday so this may be interesting. Previous Sundays has proven me wrong, I thought that there wouldn't be any people at the shows but fuck, there where plenty so I could be wrong, we'll just see! Yeah, no shower tonight either, why? A broken shower... great. Tomas is hangover so all he does today is bitchin..and complaining about pretty much anything that gets to his mind.

Legion: Urrrfffttt!!! Waking up I feel great, because I'm still drunk. Three hours later the hangover pours over me like a sticky wave of everything that sucks in life. Me, Tomas and Emil lies like sacks of potatoes in the backstage gasping for air. Fuck it with my foot I'm not walking anywhere anyways, I can just lie around being worthless. "This is why I don't do shots with Peter" Mauser tells me shaking his head. "He's fucking fast, real fucking fast". The whole road crew looks like zombies today. What's up with having the craziest sexdreams when being really hangover? They wake me up several times only to make me realize I'm still a shipwrecked mess on a couch next to smelly men aarrrrggghhh!!! I'm doing warmupscreams and hitting myself in the head with closed fists backstage going "Come on you fucker give them hell!!" Up on stage the hangover vanishes into thin air, life is coming back to me as the sweat is spraying!

Tomas: Oh fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!!! The hangover is too much for me to take! Me and Legion, which I help after he'd vomit before the bed yesterday, just lay on the sofa backstage the whole day and sleeps. Later the bassplayer of INACTIVE MESSIAH joins us in the sofa. The stage had some really weird lights so I couldn't see anything from the stage today. The shower had flooded in the backstage area when it was my turn to shower so FUCK! Joinus was kind and went for the promoter and he gave me access to a another COLD SHOWER, as usual when you are on tour apparently, and it had no power. So I had to stand inside the shower with a fuckin flashlight to take a shower in cold water. I was kind of pissed but when I was on the way to the bus 6 Spanish girls grab me and wanted to take pictures and they were all over me, then I got happy again hahaha. I hang out with Ana during the Vader show and she introduced me to all her friends and her boyfriend. Real nice people! After all it turned out to be one of the best Sundays so far on the tour. Tomorrow we won't have access to the venue until 16:30. I guess it gonna be another dull day in the bus then with no power or anything, the bunker here I come!!!

12th of May - Valencia @ Loco Club, Spain
Emil: We have breakfast at a restaurant where we have paella and fish with a very special dessert! It's a cake with an eatable photo of Vader, the promoters made this as a token of appreciation to their 25th anniversary. Today's whining from Tomas is getting to me. I have to bitchslap the whore if he continues. Apparently everything is wrong... The venue was a small one so the audience didn't have to do much to bring chaos to the stage. I fucking broke 2 sticks during the 25 minutes that were given to us tonight, yeah, a shorter set ..cause of all delays today but over in all, we had a great show!

Legion: Emil is mad. A mad fucking talent. Since the recording of Ninewinged Serpent the guy has written at least 20 songs, some we've finished together for Devian II and some are still in process, the other day I browsed through a slab of his riffs recorded on the computer, a whole bunch that I can't wait the public to go insane to, they crush like a hammer and pierce like a knife!! I find him in the downstairs lounge singing into his cell phone. "Morning man! Check out my latest 25 riffs" he smirks. "I'm trying to arrange them in the phone; it's not all that easy". Haha so I reckon. Valencia today. Once again I marvel over the skills of our drivers. Through the narrow city streets with double parked cars they haul the veritable beast that a full-size nightliner with a trailer is. Every now and then a Spaniard in a rush has left his car standing in blocking our path and a bunch of us run out and pushes and drags the car out of the way. Paella today, Valencia specialty mmmmm!! Today's crowd is happy to see us, fiends from Transylvania, Venezuela, Colombia and Spain are screaming and doing horns up before we have our equipment up. A petite blonde wearing nothing more than a bra and military pants jumps on stage and kiss me. "You are the best!!" Time on stage flies by. Good times Valencia; see you soon again for sure!!

Tomas: I have been in a bad mood today but after the dinner it got better. The dinner was excellent today and the staff treated us really well. Already before the show there were a lot of people outside the venue so I had kind of high expectation tonight and we made it together with the fantastic crowd! The stage was really small but we kick the shit out of the place along with the crowd. Legion's foot is getting worse, he hurt himself in Porto, and I'm getting a bit worried about it, don't like to see him in pain cause a lot depend on him and cause he is like a brother to me but he is a strong Viking from the North so he'll make it!

13th of May - Madrid @ Caracol, Spain
Emil: Did a very exclusive thing today I washed my clothes. No matter how rock star someone can get you'll have to do the laundry or buy new clothes and toss the old ones. I managed to do something really stupid too that I wish to share with you people... I was told that the shower at the venue was cold so I prepared myself mentally and went for it, DAMN it was cold but what can you do, some evenings you manage to screw the shower and some nights you just HAVE to shower. This was one of them. Anyway, after screaming my way through the shower, I step out and Tomas enters after me and says: "Why are you complaining? It's HOT! Apparently I missed a tap in this high-tech shower so I accidentally had a cold shower. Just lovely...

Legion: Last time I was in Madrid the pope was in town on the same day, I remember sealed off city streets and all kinds of chaos. The audience threw up pictures of him on stage and we all had a good laugh making fun of the old geezer throughout the concert. Meeting up with Paco Fernandez, Mr CMR in Spain. Great guy, we're having a good time discussing stuff and shooting the breeze. The show is great; Madrid is still just as much of a metal town as I remember it. This night ends with a golden edge for me. Attending the concert is one of my heroes, Robert Hernandez, world leading tattoo genius. The Septic Flesh:Ers, he and I are having drinks in the bar, I'm thrilled to say the least! I can't wait to get my first Hernandez tattoo done!! "We're gonna do something wild and totally satanic" Robert says with a smile. I'll keep you all posted on this one haha!!

Tomas: Today Paco from Century Media Spain/Portugal visit us. He gave us a lot of good news and he was a real outstanding guy. We showed him some pre-productions for the second album, Devian II, and he was thrilled about it! It was a big stage today and I think I have never headbanged as much on the tour as I did tonight! The shower today looked like a space rocket and I was man enough to control it, Emil wasn't and he really is the most "sensitive" guy when it comes to cold showers I guess that he isn't a real Viking deep inside!

Robert: I bought underwear today... damn, I should have checked them closer, plastic shit for girls....I was sober today, it was nice, a little bit booooring, I will drink twice as much tomorrow..

14th of May - Barcelona @ Salamandra, Spain
Legion: Novy and I have discovered that we have a nerdy obsession in common cooking haha! Next to music and making tattoos that is my third creative obsession in life. I love to be a witch doctor in the kitchen chopping shit up, stirring pots and pans and invite a bunch of friends and have them choke on being totally stuffed. Novy is the same. No one else manage to say a word, that's how fast to say the least eager conversation about knives, ingredients, Creole cooking, Mayan swordfish and sushi is. Last Spanish show today, a couple of Swedes are showing for the gig including Joinus gf Louise. I don't ever think I saw him taking a shower that fast after the show hahaha!!! Thanks for everything Spain, it was a gooden, lots of great memories to bring home with us!! See you next year!!!

Tomas: Barcelona??? Me, Roberth and Emil started with a long walk this morning. As soon as Roberth got his cigarettes he went back to the bus. Emil and I went a little further and passed a school and some other places too. Tonight I meet up with Ingrid and her friend David at the venue too. Really nice to meet Ingrid again, no horror movies this time though ;) Today I was in charge of all the guitars and the GT-machine since Jonas' girlfriend was here in Barcelona today! Really nice to meet her again and Cheddar and Karlsson; crazy fuckers from my hometown Finspng. Cheddar and I even went to the junior high together a real nice guy! I went to bed quite early and I have heard some real horror stories about the venue tomorrow, just ONE fuckin toilet for the bands AND the crowd and no showers??? Please, save us!

Robert: Barcelona!! Yeah, I love this town. It is one year since I was here the last time, and I really was looking forward to see this beautiful town again. My friends Cheddar, Otto and Karlsson from Finspng gave me a sms, "we will come to the DEVIAN-show tonight!!" great!! Love them, crazy motherfuckers!! Otto didn't come, he had a hangover from hell, so Cheddar, Karlsson and I started drinking whisky in the tour bus....m m m., the gig was great, maybe a little stiff audience, but still a good gig!! Cheddar did some "chaplin-moves" in the stair, and in the backstageroom..ha ha..The lucky bastard Jonas did meet his girlfriend this day, really nice and cool girl!!, I wish I could see my girlfriend too.. Fuck my cell phone is still dead...hm...

15th of May - Montpellier @ Le Korigan, France
Legion: Tiny club today in the Marseille area. Southern France has always treated me well in the past so I'm hoping for a good show today. The vibe of the little metalshack gets me nostalgic, like the places where we gig:ed back in the day when Black Metal was frowned upon by most and the few fiends that saw the beauty of it stayed together like feathers and tar and supported each other in everything we did. Fabricio is patching me up with a medicated band aid kinda thing on the foot, "It'll burn but you'll feel better, trust me bro" he says as I strap my boot back on. The club is packed beyond belief, Tomas takes commando during our feedback fuelled intro; climbing up on the barrier screaming on top of his lungs "Cooooome oooooon you fuckers!!!" the audience replies with a warcry from hell!! Hahaha tonight is gonna be great!! Endorphins, adrenalin and Fabricios witchpatch is just what I needed today, I'm jumping, climbing, falling, crowd surfing and going fucking crazy. All Devians are climbing the barriers except naturally for Emil who is standing up playing his kit like an orc in a battle haha tonight's show is mad!! My good friend Gunnar has just moved here and we end the night in the parking lot with drinks and catch up before we roll out of town.

Tomas: France, AGAIN fuck hell yeah! I love playing in France! The first thing I heard when I woke up this morning was that the place was sold out, and that really gave me a good vide about the night. Since the catering hadn't arrived I took a long walk with my mp3player instead. After the breakfast I meet up with Mousse and she took me, Emil, Joinus and Roberth to a town nearby for some touristing and then even a cocktail called Satan's sperm. Really nice meeting her again she is such a sweet girl! I was so excited over the gig, the place was so small and packed with people and we did a hell of a show with the crowed. People were stagediving, we were standing on boxes screaming like orcs! After I had followed Mousse to her car and hugged her goodbye I ended in an afterparty in a white van that was parked nearby the venue with two guys and a girl... haha fuckin crazy shit! And cheers to Annain too, nice meeting you and your friends :)

16th of May - Milan @ Musicdrom, Italy
Legion: They say that the music industry is not for making real friends. It's full of chameleons and sharks. People altering shape and those that tries to take a bite out of you. Yeah true that. But real friends exist also. Like today's promoter, Debbie. We haven't met in five years and we're having a great time filling each others ears with heaps of crap. Musicdrome proves to be the Transilvania club with a new name. With a "Porco Dio!!!" with my harshest voice we blast away and the place goes nuts. I wonder what a Metal gig must look like to some clean-cut Ozzie and Harriets who mere care about washing their cars, mow their lawn and fit so frictionless into their perfect happy go lucky slot in society. Front rows of Satan-impersonators who yell their asses off and making one obscene gesture after the other by the second. A pit with people shoulder checking and throwing one another around. A fiendish gathering surrounding the place of headbanging screaming lunatics. A huge outburst of aggression. Still no one gets hurt. No one will pick a fight for a bullshit reason like your average danceclub. Nonconformists having a fucking great time together, supporting a scene that is the most enduring form of popular music that has ever existed. Metal is forever. Amongst other music trends like a cockroach in a nuclear war. Today I was honoured in a really moving way, a few maniacs showed with my entire discography so I could sign it. As much as you guys must look up on my work to wanna own all that shit, make sure that I look up on you just as much!!

Tomas: Today I meet up with Martina and her friend and her brother, really nice people! We went to a bar and had a beer and later we took a pizza too, haha but I actually still prefer Mamma Mia's pizza in Nykping in Sweden, sorry guys! Martina told me that they had good weather yesterday but today it rained, so typical this tour haha, rainy weather and cold showers!!! Haha!!! It's been 11 years since my last visit in Italy but I think this time will be better. A big hug to Martina for showing me the city ;)

17th of May - Pinarella @ Rock Planet, Italy
Legion: My parents told me to not bullshit nor tell lies. Honesty last the longest. So here we go. I'm high. The blue pills Piotr hooked me up with for my foot has hit me like a fucking rattlesnake bite. My cranium is tickling, the laptop screen is beaming at me like god's eyes, or headlights in the dead of night. I'm listening to Devian II writing lyrics. We've done such a great one in Pinarella, the affection and dedication from the Italians are fucking mind-blowing, I've been so kissed, hugged, clapped in the back and had my hand shook so many times I don't even know what to say. Several guys started crying after taking photos with me!! We did good today. The Pinarella metal mafia made me feel so alive and loved I find no words. Outside the bus the party goes on all night, through the windows I see people laughing, falling over, talking, screaming, and having a fucking great time. I'm not there tonight, after giving all on stage I can barely walk. I'm tripping on the amazing night I had and that little blue pill. Artists usually say things to please, "You guys are the best". I'm telling the truth, Pinarella I fucking love you!!!

Tomas: Me and Emil started with a walk to the beach today. A black dog followed us almost all the way to the beach, strange! I mean the dog had a name tag but no owner in sight! On the way back we went to an arcade hall and played some nice SEGA games and after that it started to rain, again. So... we bought an umbrella and just when we had played 6 EURO for it, it stopped raining hahaha! I was so hungry today and the dinner was one of the best maybe THE best so far! I think this was the hottest club so far on the tour hahaha! When I entered the stage tonight it was fog on the display on my pedal board even before we had begun playing! The floor was slippery so I had to be carefully with my movement's stage. Legion's foot is still fucked so I was worried today for the gig and what does that crazy orc do??? He fuckin crowdsurf like a maniac and headbang like if it is no tomorrow! Later he tells me that Debbie, the promoter, has arranged so he can go to the hospital tomorrow, we are very thankful for that! And what about the afterparty??? I drank a lot of vodka with much nice people, like Lord Dagoth from myspace and our street team and his girlfriend and the cool thrashers in Skeletonwitch; one of the bands that played tonight and they were cool guys and a very good band! I think I did everything tonight, I danced with the tour manager and drank vodka and headbanged to Rhapsody and everything hahaha! I almost started a fight with Emil and insulted him so fuckin much hahaha, he lost!!!

18th of May - Pescara @ Rock House, Italy
Emil: The breakfast was a disaster. Small white bread and salami....and that's it. Good work and what else on top of that? No showers....wonderful. It's boiling hot outside and when one of my favourite polish friends Daray finds out that there are no showers he goes up to the promoter and says "Come on man, no showers? Bullshit man" I just love Daray, he makes me smile everyday when being sarcastic or pissed off at something but just enough to make you laugh and not wonder if he's gonna kill someone. Good news follows shortly after that, we get to have some hot showers after the show, there will be some people driving us to a hotel....After taking the shower I try to remember when it was the last time I actually had a hot shower. I enjoyed every minute though. Back at the bus I end up meeting Alex, the vocalist from Abgott. I go "What the fuck are you doing here". The thing is that when playing with Marduk in the UK a couple of years ago they opened up for us and I can't say that I have seen such a crazy live band before, Alex reminded me of Legion when he used to be in Marduk and now I get to share stage with him again which is really awesome for me, I can't say that haven't missed him! Alex explained that he did a show with Abgott yesterday at the same venue and stayed another day with friends and got to our show to see us. Fucking amazing to see him in Italy, we'll meet soon again brother!

Legion: What did I say about real friends? Debbie has set up a hospital appointment for me. "You promise me you go now Erik" she says wrinkling her eyebrows. "You're not 20 anymore, stop acting like Clint Eastwood!" I will go haha, it's actually gonna be nice. I don't mind the pain but I'm bummed out that I don't get to be all I can be on stage. The local promoter is a helpful really cool fellow. My kind of guy. We're talking about the motorcycles we've owned, past sins and crazy times and he nods at the shirt he is wearing, displaying the colours of the biggest and worst motorcycle club in the world, "I can just forget about visas hahaha!" he laughs. I go through med examination, Xray and finally another doc. The verdict, a cast! After explaining my situation one more time through my friend I end up with some medication and a strapon cast that I can take off every night before the show. "Come Legion, let's have an espresso". I limp into a small caf to a table where well-groomed, fashionably well dressed older serious looking Italian men wearing golden jewellery sits by a table talking. Our promoter shakes hands, talks a bit and nods at me. We down the espresso shot and hop in the car again. "My uncle" he explains. "Looking like a gangster, who is not so strange because that's just what that was". Tonight's show start off unexpectedly, I'm doing my normal pierce the crowd with my eyes, like "I'm gonna grill all of you" feeling the head rush that gigs always is for me when Mauser, standing at the side of the stage with his middle finger in the air shouts as loud as he can "Fuck you assholes, you're worthless!!!" I loose my cool starting to laugh out loud in the microphone. Fuck the intro, Joinus and Tomas is feedbacking. "Bona sera Pescara! Putana Madonna!! "Dressed in Blood"!!!". "Scarred" is my chance to get back. "Happy fucking birthday Vader" I shout "except for Mauser who is a flaming homosexual!!" hahaha!! Pescara is no different from the rest of the ever so warm-blooded and appreciative Italy. I sign, hug, greet and take pics until my leg collapse and I have to sit down. Alex from Abgott steps by to say hi. See you in August mate. Thanks for everything Pescara and bella Italia. Porco Dio!!!!

Tomas: Today I called my parents and they told me that they have frost during night time in Sweden and that they have to use the fireplace to warm their house. I'm sweating like a pig in Italy! This is the first really hot day in Italy so far. The venue had no showers but the promoter is a nice guy and fix so we can go to a hotel in the city and shower after the show and God... it was the first hot shower I had had for ages so it almost feels a little bit weird to shower in hot water, but it is also a blessing from the demons below!!! We also meet Alex from Abgott and his girlfriend, really nice people!

19th of May - day off in San Marino, Italy
Emil: Holy shit! I walk for 5 minutes in this town and immediately I feel like moving here. It's so beautiful! It is like a medieval town on top of a mountain. Well, there are actually 3 mountains and 2 "towns". We walked all day and all over the town so I got really inspired to write some new music and recollect myself from all the self-destructive tour-life. Too bad that there are too many stores for tourists that are similar to the store next door, still I enjoy my stay here. One other cool thing is that since it is encamped so high up in the air we had a thick mist coming in when darkness started to fall over San Marino, it felt like we entered a Jack the ripper movie, damn, I love these environments! Everybody on the tour bus spent 2 days here just browsing almost every store this town had to offer.

Legion: I wake up at six PM. Fuck me dead I've been sleeping forever! That's the only thing that I appreciate about days off on tour, some plug in the back of your head that keeps you tense to preserve your velocity onstage shuts off and you feel how very tired you really are. Everybody is already out doing town so I'm staying in the bus, resting my leg and having breakfast vodka with Darek. Continue writing lyrics. At nine Emil calls me; they are five minutes away at some beer joint. Of course Emil manages to explain the wrong way even though we are in the same block! Hahaha I love you Mr. Don't-you-ever-go-train-hiking-alone! Thanos from Inactive Messiah points and shows and I limp over there. 20 minutes later I get there only to find out that they are closing!! What the fuck!! So I start to walk again when through the window of a hotel lobby I see Daray, Novy and Fabricio hanging out. I join the party which ends up on the bus with shooting 2 bottles of Absinth. Lights out!

Tomas: San Marino again, I haven't been here for 11 years! It all looks the same, almost! They don't have records stores everywhere like they used to have. I think I only saw 2 record stores today. Instead they have a shitload of weapons and armours EVERYWHERE!!!! Fuck I feel like a child reborn! Since Legion's foot is stilled fucked the other guys and me walk the streets the whole day and just hang out and check out the stores and the place. To breakfast we go to a pizza place and Emil wanna try something new to him so he orders a pizza with only four different brands of cheese. I can't finish the pizza because it only tastes cheese, no shit Sherlock??? Why do you think they call it a pizza with only cheese on it??? So Emil whines almost the whole day about how hungry he is and that he shouldn't had ordered that pizza! We spend the rest of the day in a bar just eating ice cream and drinking beer. Jonas and I take a walk later on the evening to fix something to eat to Legion and to get something for us as well, when his girlfriend calls him. I just hear him say: "I wanna buy a ninja throwing star!!! Come on hun, please let me do that??? Okay, I can't do it? Okay... how has you day been sweetie?" Then I just laugh my ass off hahahaha.

20th of May - Day off in San Marino, Italy
Emil: The people on this tourbus apparently think that we where going into war or something all of a sudden. Some bought samurai swords and some bought guns. I suspect a plot, maybe a world war INSIDE the tourbus between us the Swedes, Polish and the Greeks??? Hmm, better sleep with one eye opens... That goddamn mist is back, at the same hour as yesterday, I just feel like going outside and start worshipping this town but the heavy rain tells me to stay inside the bus...all right, I listen to Devian II to see if we can do some adjustment for the better.

Legion: I wake up screaming in shock. The ceiling of the bunk is squashing me, pain is shooting through my body and I feel I'm trapped under rubble! Aaaaaaaa!!! Aaarrrrggghhhh!! My screams wake up the entire bus as I box my fists into the ceiling, which of course not has broken down; I'm having an Absinth nightmare. Joinus comes running "Are you ok?". Piotr looks out of his bunk, says nothing shakes his head and goes back to sleep. The others are laughing. "What if you've fucked your hands up now, it's gonna go well with that foot of yours Robocop hahahaha!!!"

Tomas: Today Emil and I walked all the way to the top of the city. We just wanted to play guitar on the top of the castle; sitting on the wall and just compose new songs! Since we had all the stuff in the trailer we had to do something else, so I bought a samurai sword before we left and I also did a pact with Novy (VADER) and Fabricio (CREW) that on the last day of the tour we gonna do a massacre in the bus. The guys with the samurai swords will be the last ones standing!!!

21st of May - Erstfeld @ Transilvania Live, Switzerland
Emil: Entering the venue today with the hopes to record some new songs I get hold of the promoter and ask for a converter, so I can plug in all equipment for recording in Cubase. Getting hold of everything I take a moment to go to the toilet, big mistake....since we have an internet connection Tomas just grabs my laptop without asking and goes berserk drooling over it while browsing the myspace as the internet addict he is. I get pissed at him for just taking the computer and give him a moment so he can do his shit. Finally when I get to start recording he comes back bitchin..about have to have the computer again. There after I'll censor up what we say to each other but let's just say that we don't talk to each other for a while. Later on we first drink beer with Daray which tells me some funny stories from his first tour with his other band Vesania, crazy drinking followed by some hotelroom-smashings....I'm jealous ..cause Daray got to throw out a TV on that tour, I'd love to do that someday, there's allot of rockstar point on that one ;) I've only smashed a hotel rooms ceiling, does that give a rockstar point?

Legion: Cool place! Reminds me of the old Ministry metalbar in the red-light district of Paris. Horror movie props everywhere! I get in late to find Mauser and Emil standing laughing and talking. "What did you hear me say in Pescara?" Mauser asks. "That we suck, fuck you something, good joke" I goes. "No no no man." Mauser says smiling with a surprised face" I said: "Fuck yeah, play us your best song"! What did you retort to that?". - "Errr...that you were gay". We laugh out the Spinal Tap moment together, after almost two decades of gigging my ears are probably not what they are supposed to be.

Tomas: Ow shit!!!! This must be like the coolest venue so far and forever!!! When I stepped out of the bus this morning I saw a big mountain in front of me and I couldn't see the top of it because of the fog. So call! When I turned around the next mountain looked like they had done the scenes from Sounds of Music! The venue is full of skulls, thrones and all kind of shit! O would really like to play here again on a weekend or something so we can meet more metal heads from this place! Roberth beats the shit out of everyone in an arm wrestling contest that we set up in the bar. Me, Emil and Darek drink a lot of vodka before the bus call. Maria, the bartender of the place, comes down to join us for a few shoots before she must return back to clean up the mess in the bar.

22nd of May - Wrgl @ Komma, Austria
Emil: Legions birthday today. It's hard to come up with something that you can do for the old geezer when you don't have the liberty to drive somewhere, get some cake to throw at his face during the show so some good old partying and drinking gets to our heads and he just smiles while opening up the first beer and I tell him that "now you fucking birthday boy we party" and we just grab as many beers as we can and go watch Vader which dedicates a song to Legion, he can only smile and enjoy the show. The after party is at a nearby pub and drinking to Sepulturas "Beneath the Remains" makes me go nuts but someone is beating me to it, I see Legion standing IN the bar and mixing his drinks, the staff apparently doesn't give a shit that he is there haha! Around 5 in the morning we almost fall out of the pub and I have to carry Mr birthday boy to the bus, wasted as a squirrel he can't hardly walk and imagine his fucked up foot on top of that and me not being the most sober Yugoslavian guy in town...

Legion: Simply one of the nicest birthdays I've had and there has been a few goodens. Like heaps of friends coming dragging me away on some crazy shit. My little sister and her airforce guy let me fly a military school plane with instructor. Today guys from Septic Flesh, Inactive Messiah, Piotr and Novy rushes out on stage and throws me up in the air. Novy takes control of the microphone. "Happy Birthday Legion" he hollers while the audience shout and clap their hands. Fucking great shit haha!! After a shower I'm quick to get in front of the stage to catch Vaders show together with Emil. See this is why Vader is 25 years and counting. Night after night their songs are just as enjoyable, Death Metal evergreens. "Say Hellelujah" Peter roars into the mic. "God is dead!!" the audience replies. "But Legion is fucking alive!! Happy Birthday Legion!!!" Peter screams. Hell yeah I love you man! "Wings" thunders away to Darays machinegun like hyperblast and we go to a metalclub around the corner for the after party. Jaegershots, beer and vodka keeps coming like an everflowing stream. All of a sudden the whole clubs stands up and sing me Happy Birthday! What a fucking great ending to a fucking great day!!

Tomas: Okay we are in good company. Yngwie Malmsteen has played here so I know this place must kick ass! I and Jonas start the day with exploring the town and we soon discover that it must be some kind of holiday or so because everything is closed. I'm so tired of eating white bread so I stop by at a restaurant and eat some pasta instead. Today is Legion's birthday so I talk with Novy (VADER) to enter the stage and do something crazy in the last part of Ninewinged Serpent. Loads of guys come up and lift him up and he looks so damned surprised haha! Since we "forgot" to fuck with Joinus at his birthday; it was very important to at least fuck with Legion hah! After the load out we go to a bar and drink more and Legion gets really fuckin wasted, as the rest of the guys that join forces to drink in the bar!

23rd of May - Colmar @ Grillen, France
Emil: Walking in to the venue I barely get into the kitchen where they serve the breakfast I see the big coffee machine almost explode for some reason and there's coffee all over the floor! Novy from Vader stands next to it with a cup in his hand looking at it surprised followed by an "ok..." hahaha! The club is packed, all too packed ..cause you can't move. I'm starting to cough again so the cold is back, just fucking lovely. Enjoying Vader for the 32879203 time with Legion next too me, we sort of almost made a tradition to stand and watch them play with a cup of wine or beer in our hands. I wonder how it will feel when we finish of this long tour with all habits grown in and all of a sudden not to do a single one of them, will we miss it? I guess; OF COURSE!

Legion: The French sun is frying the metal roof of the bus. We are stretching out in the yard outside except for Peter who is going nuts with his soft air gun shooting at everything. "The hotel room in San Marino had so many soft airgun bullets on the floor I slipped and fell taking a shower" Darek laughs and shakes his head while watching Peter fire away. "So you're 33 now? You are no longer Robocop Legion" Piotr chuckles. "You are now Jesuscop hahaha!". The Jesus related jokes keep hailing throughout all of the day. Tonight's show is fantastic. A moshpit breaks out that some attendees fear. The slamming is so violent that a security guard shows up and stands besides the pit watching but hesitates to calm the maniacs down, probably because regardless of his size he'll fly away like a punctured balloon haha! The monitors gets thrown up at us, I'm being pushed back into the drumkit, Joinus pedalboard flies to hell leaving him muted. Fucking hell madness tonight!! I'm having wine by Fabricios soundboard with Emil watching Vader when Peter goes:" Yesterday it was Legions birthday so here is a late gift for him - "The Crucified Ones"!!!". Hahaha I'll start on my carpentry when I get home....

Tomas: France again! I have been looking forward to going here again! I and Joinus join forces to change the strings on the guitars today. We do it outside and it's really REALLY hot! After we have changed them and I have played some guitar I shoot Seth and Fotis (of SEPTIC FLESH) down with my guitar, I'm satisfied; the guitar is tuned and I'm a murderer! The show is sold out and we are in France so I expect a lot of violence and fuck man, the France crowd make my wish come true! They crowd are so violent that not even the security guards dare to do something about it hahahaha, this is metal up your ass! After the show I have a very cold shower, as usual, and then hang out with people from the venue and just have a good time. Pity we haven't more shows in France on this tour!

24th of May - Essen @ Turock25, Germany
Emil: Insanely fun day! We get our best abroad friends over here from Belgium and Germany and I can see that Legion already introduced them. They brought 2 wonderful cakes and beer for Legion and Fotis who is having his birthday today. We got a couple of Dutch friends over as well and I wish to thank you all for coming, you were great! A lot of people from our label Century Media were here today and it was great to finally meet them, Leif, you will receive a superb 2nd Devian album, believe me I think we party ..till almost 7 in the morning, fucking hell, we had one of greatest after party evenings ever! Thank you all Serpents!

Legion: Essen, one of Metals strongholds on a Saturday!! What can possibly go wrong here?! Our friends Rebecca, Evelien and kleni Pia shows up with birthday cake! My old friend Ben has driven from Holland to see us again. Strolling around the area noticing that my foot is getting better we meet Harry, Mr Vader online, and a bunch of his friends and we have beers together before going back to the place. The venue is filling up. Gerrit from Century Media shows. We murder the fucking place, the response is God from when we enter the stage. Essen is singing along, screaming and moshing wild, so we do "Jackal" as a special treat. Jens from Century Media shows, so does my old tour manager and dear friend Marco Flintskalle. Rob Vuns! Too many friends lie in the house to not have a killer party! Red Bull and Vodka! Mojitos! Long Island Ice Tea! Tequilashots! My head is spinning when my dear friend and label A&R at Century Media, as well as frontman of the german Slayer, Dew Scented, - Leif Jensen shows up. He has been pulling off 2(!) shows this night before coming, fucking hell good to see him again! With the bands and all mates it's a mad drinking hugging party. "I love you Legion" Daray shouts into my ear. "Cheers!","Brothers!!","To you!!" hahaha you get the picture. Happy Birthday to Fotis, glad that we had such a great night together brother.

Tomas: A really nice breakfast today, as always in Germany! After the breakfast Rebecca, Pia and Evelien shows up and they have brought some cake and stuff for Legion. They have also brought the camera for Fabricio that we ordered from Porto, since the one that he bought there broke during one night in the bus. We, the guys in Devian, Septic Flesh and Inactive Messiah, bought him a new one and today we were able to give him that one and he is so happy for it! Really nice to see that :) Before the show Gerrit from Century Media shows up and introduce himself and he is a really nice guy, as the rest of the people, Jens and Leif that shows up later. The gig is violent and the respond is cool! A girl in the front keeps touching my leg during the whole show and when she doesn't do that her head is spinning like a crazy helicopter hahaha. After the show she looks even more tired than me!!! The club is really nice but I'm exhausted and tired due to my coughing so I never enter my real party mood this night! Me and the crazy Dutch people; lead by Harry mr vader online, go to Burger king to eat a few hours after midnight. Somehow I manage to stay awake ..till the bus call; seven in the morning and then I try to fall asleep with my bunker full of booze that I hide from Legion cause he already had too much this night hahaha, and that fucker told me that he was going to be sober the WHOLE tour!!!

25th of May - Darmstadt @ Steinbruch Theatre, Germany
Emil: The venue in the middle of nowhere...waking up and only seeing forest all around you almost made me think of Sweden. Are we at home? "No, we are at a bunker out in the woods and here you are playing today" someone yells. Well, I'm surprised that they have one of the best catering on this tour and the food is excellent. How boring that may sound I still need to write it down ..cause all small things that make you happy on a tour like these counts. We are not spoiled with good catering and since I love food I feel compelled to write about it. The only bad thing today is that my cough has gotten worse so tomorrow I gotta buy some medicine, I'm coughing through our set today, almost puking in between the songs, and I love tour life hehe...

Legion: "Drive faster, I have to get back to the bus before we leave!" I agitate my friends in the car. The party from yesterday is still going, it's early morning and Tomas reckons I've had more than enough and has hid away the remaining licker bottles somewhere on the bus. This is where I outsmarted him by asking two friends attending the show to drive me to a gas station to buy more Smirnoff, hahaha Germany rules, and hard alcohol everywhere around the clock!!! I make it back just before bus call, madness continues right now hahaha!! We all wake up in the afternoon sweating looking at each others grey wrinkly shiny faces with bloodshot eyes. "When are you ever gonna learn" I think to myself knowing the answer is never. Old dogs don't learn how to sit. Tomas is taking the piss out of me today, being on vocal rest to save my chords I can't say shit, the discipline is total silence and he makes the maximum out of it pushing all my buttons laughing like a disobedient kid when he sees my face boiling grrrrr hahaha!!! Andreas Vlker with friends from KOTS shows up for the gig. Sunday shows are usually a bit slower, people have partied hard and know they have to work the day after. I decide to hop in the crowd and mix things up a bit, I jump off the stage and start to body check and box on people to stir shit My leg is working again, not folding, it keeps haha hell yeah! Legion is back fuckers!!!!

Tomas: Oh fuck! I think I slept for like 30 mins this "night" Fuckin useless, the heat was killing me... The bus suddenly stops and I go out and talk with Joinus and Legion. I buy a bottle of water and then visit the toilet, and man, that's a weird fuckin toilet! I feel like I'm a captain of a space shuttle or something and I'm only here to do a number 2! When I had done my stuff I rose from the toilet and suddenly the toilet seat started to rotate and a roboarm came out from nowhere and started to wipe the seat clean. I was so stunned that I almost forgot to wash my hands!!! It cost me 50 cent but it was worth every cent for that feeling haha! Today members from the Kult of the Serpent came to the gig, lead by Andreas Vlker. Really nice people even though we are a bad company today since everyone are so hangover and sleepy haha! They film the gig and it will be interesting to see it when I get home to Sweden. Before the gig I have a long chat with Daray (of VADER) backstage, I really like this guy haha he is so cool! I finish off the evening by taking a walk in the forest alone in the middle of the night and then watch the beginning of Escape from New York with the other guys but I have to go to sleep cause I'm so dead tired. Nite!

26th of May - Saarbrucken @ Roxy, Germany
Emil: Dull as it is I walked to some supermarket to buy some medicine for my throat that I'm sick and tired of. Having problems with a normal conversation makes you wanna be well a.s.a.p. ..Cause as soon as I try to say something I start coughing....like a retard in other words. Anyway, I acted like I didn't see them so I just closed the door and walked quietly away. Horrible sight so I don't really know what to say to him during the remaining tour dates...I don't even think I can look him into his eyes if he speaks to me.

Legion: Last German gig today and the closest to my old hometown of Stuttgart. It was so nice to be back for a while sucking up the atmosphere, the food, the cities, Germany in all its glory. I'm looking forward to bringing my kids here again in August. For the second day we team up with Andreas Vlker and co to pull off our fan-fronted interview session, with noise on top of noise in the background we have great fun doing it. It strikes me backstage areas is something like first-class cabins in airplanes, they might be exciting when talking about it but once you get in there it's pretty dull. Stinky stage wear hangs in rows while people lays outstretched laughing, bullshitting, kicking back, practicing their skills or just killing time. There's Novy, to call this man anything else but top notch bar none would be an understatement, playing his bass like a demon. Peter is looking up from his laptop laughing about something. Seth works with cover artworks on his computer. There is Daray in one of his leaning his head sideways moments rolling his eyeballs striking out with his arms going "Come on man! This is bullshit!" Roberth is lifting weights and writing sms:es. Joinus is smoking doing his tics like the manic finger pressing rally. Mauser obsessing over his videogames. Fotis trying to get some rest. Emil, probably bored as hell running around shitstirring everyone to get a reaction to laugh about. And Tomas hahaha, Tomas is the real entertainment today. Having brought in all his gear in a garbage bag leaving it on the side of a table he returns to find it stuffed with dirty plastic cups, half eaten sandwiches and other crap on top of his clean clothes hahahahaha!!!! Business as usual on tour, today with a great laugh at his expense!

Tomas: I slept so long that I missed the load out and everything haha! Think I slept for like 10-11 hours! The catering is outstanding today too and today's backstage's area is the best so far. The showers are so hot that you almost burn you skin during the shower! After the breakfast and a nice chat with Legion I take a long walk and then we meet up with Andreas Vlker and friends again to shoot the ASK THE SERPENT interview. I'm very excited by doing this cause it's an interview FOR THE FANS MADE BY THE FANS. A lot of polish and Greek soldiers are marching by during the interview so don't be surprised if you hear stuff like Malaka or Kurwa on the interview tape hahaha! It's a very small and tight stage today but we do our best; jumping on boxes in front of the stage and shit to destroy the place. I even play peek-a-boo with a guy in the crowd since there are some pillars on the stage haha! Tomorrow we gonna have a day off, what a shame! I wanna headbang and play tomorrow too! Gaaah, maybe we can do an unplugged gig in the hills of Austria? Who knows ;)

27th of May - Day off in Salzburg, Austria
Emil: One could think that we would enjoy day offs but we actually don't. Why? We simply enjoy playing live instead of sitting on our asses! Today it's different, especially when we go downtown and see 3 castles around us, I start to feel like in San Marino, and medieval surroundings that make me feel like the happiest fish in the water. Me, the hopeless supermaster Gaylord Tomas and limping Legion (which actually has progressed from walking like a retard to almost looking like he has not shitted his pants today) takes a nice breakfast and continue in the heat to the castle Hohen Salzburg. I can blabber on for hours of how nice it was up there but I'll spare you from my bullshit. After we travelled 700 meters up in the air to get to the castle, we had some drinks and explored the surroundings. We saw a sign that said vulture tower and after discussing about the Devian II album (like we do on daily basis) we came to the conclusion that we would have a song title that would include vultures, I don't want to go into details since we will let you all know about the lyrics and ideas behind them at a later stage. We ended up calling Joinus to see where they were and met up at a biergarten and having lots of beers, just a relaxed evening in good friends company, wonderful.

Legion: Daray is making us scream with laughter. Struggling to not piss our pants we gather round while he with a body language swaying like a young tree in hard breeze keeps up his rants. "Let me tell you something" he begins continued by more "fuck" and "motherfucker" than Al Pacino and Samuel L Jackson could dream of mustering. It's early morning in a parking lot on a relaxing day off, one too many we reckon but it's a TBA that's gone haywire and we have to sit tight in Salzburg, Austria waiting for tomorrows show. I've been walking the town with Emil and Tomas. Walking!! Hahaha I can't even put words on how great it's been, we took the railway up to the local fortress Hohen Salzburg, tossed the ticket and walked all the way down and back again. Just enjoyed the food, the city and the weather. Can't wait for tomorrow's metallic mayhem though.

Tomas: Day off again nice that it's only one day this time. I wanna play not sit on my ass and doing nothing! But anyway, this day off was really cool. When I woke up Joinus and Roberth had left the bus. So I sit down outside the bus on a rock and chat a little bit with Fabricio (CREW) and then I woke up Legion and Emil and we walked to this nice little restaurant and have pressed orange and kiwi drinks with toasts; which are so good! Then we explored the city and go to the castle where I guess that Mozart have done one gig or two in the past. It's so beautiful and cool! I and Emil are just like little kids because of the beautiful castle surroundings, but still the heights frighten us a little bit. Legion's foot is getting much better but after a while he starts to walk like Robocop again so, we sit down and I have a glass of white wine and the others take beer. Then we team up with Joinus and Roberth to have an outstanding dinner. Emil really wants to go to an Irish pub nearby but it looks closed so we continue our walk and stop by at a biergarten like an outdoor drinking place. We have like 6-7 rounds of beer and then crawl back to the bus and rob our own stash of vodka and starts making groggs and shots. Somehow we are able to go through some material to the Devian II album and alter some riffs in my song, called Tomas megaman song. This album is gonna be a fuckin blast!

28th of May - Salzburg @ Rockhouse, Austria
Emil: I haven't gone to bed yet...Still awake at 7.30 and talking outside the bus with Daray from Vader. We chat about family, friends, relatives and other things that concern your daily life. At some point we decide to go to a gas station and buy breakfast and Daray has no money! Listen to this, the guy plays in the main band on this tour and has no money....What a looser haha! So I have to buy him breakfast and of course he feels ashamed ..cause of that. I make him feel bad about that on purpose and he just goes "Fuck you man"! Like I said earlier, I love this guy.

Legion: It's pretty late when I get out of bed already. For being the day after a day off I'm surprisingly tired, I yawn my way through breakfast. Coffee and the ever so toxic Austrian Red Bulls do little to help. Whatever, lets shower. I get in and the water is cold. I wait a bit but it's not getting better. Fuck it, I force myself through it shivering and cursing. When I get out at least I'm awake for real, the ice-cold water kick-started me going. Fotis is next in line. "How's the water?" he asks. "Oh it's cold, fucking cold" I go. Fabricio walks by and points at the wall where this little digital cabinet is placed. "Legion, here is where you manage the temperature, you should have cranked it up man". Fotis troubled face turns into a huge smile as he starts to jump around, laugh and shadowbox at me. "Oh hahahaha!! Legion awwwww are you crying? Booo-fucking-hooo hahaha brother you got robbed" he triumphs like a happy kid while taking the piss out of me. Yeah the joke is on me grrrr hahaha!! Good show tonight, it's been a habit on this tour with killer feedback from the audience I never dare to take for granted but so fucking happy that our first tour has been the homerun it has been!! With an "Ich bin der Scheisse vom Gott" we finish off. Thanks Salzburg, Christian and Jaqueline for the company and good times! See you all again soon!!

Tomas: I and Joinus started the day with going to a record store where he bought an album and after that we had a nice fruit drink. Since all our clothes were dirty we had to find a laundry place. Xristos (INACTIVE MESSIAH) gave us a ride to the train station were we found a nice laundry place. The place had Internet access, soda machines, and candy machines everything you need to kill 60 min while you are waiting for the clothes to get ready for you! We had to walk back and soon we were lost! We stopped by a store and I said to Joinus: "Let's ask that nice looking teller for the direction to the club". He started to speak the little German he know. She was a real nice teller and draw us a map and everything. The gig tonight was like one of the top 5 coolest gig so far on the tour! The stage was cool, the crowd were killer and we fuckin gave everything! Even Emil, the coughing guy in the band. I really feel sorry for him since he is the drummer and really has to do the most physical stuff on the set. I spend the rest of the night with Madeline and her friends and it was outstanding! A big hug to Madeline and cheers to her friends!

29th of May - Ljubljana @ Gala Hala, Slovenia
Emil: For today arrival in Ljubljana I have great expectations. Not for the show but for how the people will react when I have the opportunity to talk my native language. It's not Slovenian but Bosnian or Serbian if you wish. Of course, people are really straight forward with me when I start talking with them, telling me about the situation between the cultures down here but they greet me with kindness and so much respect that I just feel I don't wanna leave this town. During our show Legion shouts to me after playing "Suffer the fools" if I wish to say some words in Bosnian to the crowd and I took the opportunity to do so since I've done that before when we have played here with Marduk, almost like a tradition. I tell them that it feels great to be back here and that we are thankful for everybody that came to the show supporting Devian and banging their heads to our songs, yet, it is not over so I want them to get truly insane for our last 2 songs that we had let and sure thing, the answer me with screams and the place went fucking nuts! After the show, once again, we get to hear from people and fans, that we are so much better with Devian than Marduk and that people want us back really soon, what can I say? I'm just proud to hear this and I and Legion are more than happy having our new band building up the network of new fans, old fans and metalpeople in general to a totally different level than Marduk probably ever will. I can only say that I'm proud to be back in Slovenia meeting up with all you wonderful people that gave us support this evening, THANK YOU!

Legion: Rob smiles like a fat kid in a candy store. "My kind of place, look at the people, it's not even the weekend" he smirks while we watch the park area that surrounds the venue. Everywhere there are metalheads hanging out drinking toxic beverages, moshing to their car stereos, people are hanging out of a tree house puking on the lawn, it's two PM. This looks like the outdoor parties we would have with our gang way back in the day, be drunk during daytime on any given day, give the finger to a cop hahaha we thought we were so tough back then...As soon as a band goes on people pack themselves into the club that in the Slovenian summer is so hot that some bands passing through in the past has cut their sets more than short because the heat has been impossible to muster. You can poor water over you on stage, it's not gonna do you any good. It's literally like being on fire, suck it up and endure! Emil is fronting the band today, shouting in the microphone making people crazy. As soon as we are done the hall empties in the blink of an eye to the yard where the party ravages on. As I hop off the stage a whole bunch of people bring me to the party, all of a sudden I stand with three beers having a great time with the crowd outside. Fuck backstage, fuck my clothes, and fuck the showers. I stay in the yard until Vader is on and join the moshpit haha slam dancing tonight!! Peter looks at me after the show when we pour a first vodka. "Look at you and me, we're fucking dying here tonight" he laughs. We are drenched in sweat, completely drained of energy and the first shot hits us like a hammer blow over the head. The party still goes on outside, I hang out till Darek comes and gets me. Tonight bus call was way way too early!!

Tomas: The venue looks like a crustcore place and the first thing I see is a poster that says that one of me friends' crustcore band gonna play here soon. I'm feeling that I'm going more and more in a kind of a downward spiral; it all started back at Essen. The show is still very good today and the people really like it. The stage is so small that Legion cut the power supply to my effect board during "Heresy", that orc bastard! After the show and the cold shower I just wanna relax. Me and Joinus find this really cool kebab place and have some after show snack. We really have a nice conversations about anything and everything and then when we come back we both still feel like we wanna just chill. Then it happens... Emil; the guy that have been sick most of the tour, finally has found some fighting spirit and feels to party tonight try to get us to the bar. He's acting like a 15 years old who's under the influence for the first time. Roberth is up to some heavy drinking tonight so he joins in. Me and Joinus pass and that makes the 15 year old Emil so pissed and he starts yelling that we are only passing due to Internet connection and shit like that. If I'm not in a party mood then I don't like to drink and a immature guy won't change my mind. It was nice to meet all the cool people outside the bus before the bus call anyway.

30th of May - Belgrade @ Legacy Festival, Serbia
Emil: My father's wife lives in this town so I got to visit her meanwhile the other fucks had their "day off" and could drink all day. After joining up with them I had some drinking to catch up to, they where pretty wasted when I came back early evening to this festival. Today's playlist consisted of Obituary, Destruction, Rage, Pain of Salvation and Dark Funeral. I met up with Chac Mol and Masse and joined them to drink in their hotel room where I met up with the rest of the band. It was nice to meet their new drummer Nils kragballe and get to chat drums with him. They had a lot of hilarious story's to tell of their tour life, statements and recordings in general to reveal so I was entertained for a couple of hours with the boys. Legion joined up with Audrey, a talented photographer that he has knows since 10 years back, a really sweet girl. We had one of the greatest evenings ever and Joinus and Roberth were really fucked up from all the alcohol-consumption this evening that I'm surprised they weren't thrown out from the festival. I think that Roberth was the only one on the whole festival that stagedived down into the audience from the stage, which is insane ..cause of the distance, at least he survived. Me and Legion were suppose to help the Dark Funeral guys on stage but our tour manager said that we really have to leave ..cause of our time schedule and so we left, leaving the furious black metal Stockholm ensemble all alone with their gear to be setup on stage. Sorry guys! Hope you had a good show despite all the delays ! Just before we left some guy wanted us to pay 100 euros for a chair that was destroyed....We have that model on IKEA for 1 euro so to the guy that told me to pay for it, if you read this...FUCK YOU AND FUCK OFF ASSHOLE!!!!

Legion: I wake up with cuts and bruises all over me, my hair is like barbwire and butter. "You can't remember now can you, you buffoon?" Emil laughs at me. "You walked off the bus last night but didn't understand that we were standing at the edge of a downhill hahahaha!! You flew down in a shrubbery hahaha!!!" When entering the festival backstage I come to think about what a bizarre kind of friendship us band guys have with each other. We might not see each other for years but as soon as we catch up it's like times been standing still. I run into my old pals Dark Funeral first thing. Great seeing them again! The band in great shape and Caligula and Ahriman are every one bit as entertaining as usual hahaha!! So many familiar faces here today. "I know we've been drinking together somewhere before" Ralph Santolla contemplates between the gulps of a monstrous drink I just helped him pour. Obituary are all gearing up for party lead by the onemanshow my good friend Trevor Perez, never a dull moment with this guy. There is the towering Schmier from Destruction, Eric and Chuck from Testament. Our dear old guitartech Jesus shows up from nowhere, so fucking great to meet everybody again!! Caroline, one of the attending photographers and me try to figure where we first met. I know she took a picture of my son Jason at a festival I took him to...no that's not it. Caroline lightens up and starts to clap her hands "You had a day off on tour and we met in a metal bar. My exboyfriend hit me and you hit him for it! Thanks for kicking my boyfriends ass!!" she laughs. Hahaha you're welcome! My dear friend Audrey is here. One of the most sincere people I know. We decide it's sticker day today so we tape up everybody that gets in our way with Devian and her Shutterblast stickers, haha people are gonna find those patches in the most peculiar places for days to come!! It's an intense day today, one I'm gonna remember. Our whole band is going nuts having the maddest time together. I think Joinus bullshitted a TV team with a fake interview, the photos Rob took of it are priceless!! Rob in his turn is the one single guy that dared and managed to stagedive. I "help" Trevor play guitar in "Slowly we rot" by banging on his strings. Emil is coming down from the Dark Funeral hotel room looking like he drank gasoline! Tomas is getting shitfaced thrashing to Rage. I would have loved to play here tonight, sucks that we couldn't. But still such a fucking amazing day!!

Tomas: We start the day with a quick load out. It feels very weird cause we aren't playing today; it's a big festival and everything looks great and I just wanna be on stage with my band mates!!! After the load out we have a quick breakfast and then start drinking. Since we aren't playing the least we can do is to drink everything in the bar!!! When I look at the posters I see that Amorphis are playing tomorrow, and I'm so pissed off due to that! I really wanna see them. But anyway two very interesting bands are playing here today; Rage and Dark Funeral. I stand in the front of the stage in the Rage concert and I'm so amazed by Victor Smolski's guitar skills. The are just three guys in the band and only one guitar but still he kick the shit out off every guitarist in the festival! I actually get his pick after the show too. The only thing I miss is Mike's great drum performance tonight! Due to many delays the bus call is just before the Dark Funeral show and I get so pissed! I and Roberth help the Dark Funeral guys with their side drops and everything but then we have to leave. Sorry guys!!! It would have been a real pleasure to see you and I was thrilled about seeing Nils playing drums live! I got so wasted today and I feel a lot better than for many days!

Joinus: Day off for us in Devian. I was expecting to spend the day on an outdoor festival but it was indoors. Anyway, we did some quick out loading of the gear for Septic Flesh and Vader. Sat down and got some really nice food and basically started drinking right after that. So a couple of Jack and Cokes later I ask Schmier from Destruction if I could have a photo with him. "Of course" he replies and we do the horns together (obviously) and as soon as we're finished I tell him about the time when I got to do the only interview in Sweden right after they reunited. I also tell him I was so nervous I had to drink 6 beers before the interview. He just laughed and took it the right way. Schmier is a super cool guy and we had lots to talk about him, me, Tomas and Roberth. Anyway, the drinking must continue. So we head on back for more Jack and Cokes. Chat up the guys from Dark Funeral who's also super nice. I get some "snus" ( a tobacco that you put in your upper lip....and if you've done it for too long you change to the lower lip...he he) from the bass player of Dark Funeral. And I think he felt kinda bad for me since I didn't have any snus and I actually shouldn't do it since I've quit after using it for 16 years. But later Legion comes up to me with a gift from the bass player. A shining box of fresh snus. Thank you so much for that Bempa!!!! Guess it's better than smoking. I had a blast even though we didn't play the festival. I got to meet many of the people I had posters of when I was a teenager. Like Destruction, Testament, Rage and the guys from Obituary.

31st of May - Budapest @ Avalon, Hungary
Emil: I had no clue what to expect from the Hungarian crowd today, since we cannot look at the people coming to a Devian show as marduk fans you have to reset your mind and hope that people will like the new band and what we have chosen to do today, which differs allot from that other band. And once again, people are nuts about seeing Legion back on stage and I can't do anything else but to just smile when they chant his name! Someone yells in the parking lot; "Legion, you are a god" and I think to myself "Damn, he sure is too many fans and in one way he's like a god to me too. So many times that he has inspired me to do my best and don't take shit from no one he sure has got under my skin and affected me in so many positive ways. I'm just so happy to play together with this maniac again! After the show people gather up to get their things signed by the band and take photos with us. I guess that I haven't mentioned this earlier but you almost start forgetting the most trivial things on tour like people that want to take picture with you. It is aquard in some way ..cause I don't see myself as a rockstar or an icon, I'm just me doing what I love to do, create music and play to people that enjoy it...Feels like I left what I suppose to say but still wanted to make a point that it is surrealistic sometimes when you think of it that people adore you every night for just being yourself. I dont..mind though...:) I wish to thanks Sandra for the great catering and her devotion to all of us, you treated us with so much respect and kindness that we wish to salute you and the great food you served us! It was great and so were you and the staff at Avalon! Cheers!

Tomas: After the breakfast I practice guitar for hours; Rage's performance still lurks in my mind and inspires me. The stage looks really interesting today; a some space for us to move. It's quite packed tonight and I'm so ready to do this gig! I must say that it turned out to be one of my top 5 gigs on the whole tour. The whole gig is a pure blast and it feels like a fuckin orgasm hits me when I have played the last chord of "Ninewinged Serpent". Tonight the band just chill out with a few beers and some shots. We are still hangover since yesterday's blast in Serbia. I'm very satisfied with this evening and wanna give a special thank to Sandra; the catering girl, and her staff. You guys did a real kick ass job tonight.
Today's wisdom words I wanna marie you

Joinus: Hotness of the damned!!!!! It's hot as hell and practically nowhere to go to escape from the heat. Sandra, the girl who's responsible for the food is so nice and asks many times if we need anything else. Thank you so much for really nice food and nice treatment. It means a lot when you're on thee road.

1st of June - Cluj Napoca @ Irish Music & Pub, Romania
Tomas: I know that Joinus has been looking forward to play here for a long time! The venue is one of the coolest so far. It's like a cellar with long corridors. The catering is good today too, and for the first time for very long I don't have to eat white bread for breakfast. After the breakfast we have a Devian meeting and talk a lot about the future and I'm so thrilled about do all the plans we have for the band. We are here to stay! Today is a Sunday so I don't expect a lot of people, but I'm surprised. Even during the catering in the morning people start to show up. When the band is taking a walk in the city we see all kinds of metalheads moving towards the venue. We all get very thrilled about this. The place is packed with people and it's a pure fucking killer show tonight! People are hailing us all the way back to the bar!!! We even do a real Iron Maiden pic at the stage with all the fans behind us; something we never done before. If yesterday's gig was one of the top 5 this must have been like one of the top 3 gigs!!! This is such a amazing evening and tonight I join Emil with his new found party mood with pleasure!!! We destroy the place with people there ..till the morning. Satisfied, I and Legion sit on the bus discussing the evening when the bus starts moving. I ask him briefly: "Are Emil and Joinus on the bus?" "Yeah I think I saw Emil going upstairs just a sec ago" he replies. I go upstairs just to check it and I can't find them in their bunks so I run down to the bus driver and scream: "Stop the bus, people are still in the club!!!" A few Kurwas later he stops the bus. Then I run to the club to get them and when I tell that the bus was going to leave without them, the just snores: " Yeah, right Tomas!" with a real unfriendly attitude Well next time I will skip to double check to see if they are in the bus then???

Joinus: Like Tomas said I've been looking forward to going to Romania for a really long time. Both as a tourist and as band member. So, first time I am attending as a band member. The place is really cool. Looks like you're in a castle or something. We get really nice food this morning and the promoter is so nice. After the sweatiest load out we've done so far we head off for a walk with the whole band. We meet up with some metalheads in the city. Giving 'em the horns and they respond the same way. After a few hours we head back to the place and have a really nice dinner. And people has already started rolling in so we sit and eat among all the metalheads of Cluj Napoca. Ok, a few minutes later it's our turn to go on stage and give them a dose of thrashing rage as usual. Before go out on stage I ask legion to take a photo of this event. I could fucking smell tonight was gonna be wild. We do our songs and the people are screaming. Some of them wants to hear Marduk songs...but they won't. Devian is way better. Before the last songs Legion tells the audience that as much as they probably look upon us we look upon the with the same amount of respect and metal gratitude. So he goes for the camera and Emil waves to the people to come up on stage so that they will be on the picture. And shit, the people went totally wild and stormed the stage. Grabbing our legs in order to climb up on stage. There was some really cool pictures though. After the gig we grab a quick shower at a nearby hotel. Head on back to start some drinking. Me and Roberth sits and drink a few screwdrivers and some people show up and wants to take photos with us. After Vader has played they receive a birthday cake. A really nice one with a picture of the band which I have never seen before this day. There's lots of people in the backstage area wanting to memorize this moment with their cameras. Time moves fast because I have so much fun at this venue. So Tomas come screaming at 4am. "C'mon Emil and Jonas. It's time to go. The bus has already started rolling and if wasn't for me you guys would be left here" And I guessed Tomas has a point in me snoring him off. Usually Darek counts us in like the daycare teacher he is. But this night he was already asleep. So I guess I should thank Tomas for not being in Cluj Napoca still. Not that it would have been such a bad thing though since I had so much fun here. But I'm kinda needed as a guitar player in this band. So I wanna take the opportunity to thank Elly and Gabi and of course a bunch of other people that made this night really special. Thank you!!!

2nd of June - Day off in Slovakia
Tomas: We start the day by looking at an exchange office at the train station. After we have changed some money we directly walk over to McDonald place nearby to get some breakfast; haha it's amazing, if you don't get white bread to breakfast then you are stupid enough to buy burgers to breakfast haha! Since we had no connection in the bus everyone started to whine about that they really HAD to check their e-mails and yada yada This time it wasn't me that was whining for a connection, but since I didn't wanna be alone I accompany them and check the Devian myspace for news. When I have finished my part of Internet activities I sit down in a sofa and relax and then I follow Joinus to the bus. When we are coming back to the Internet caf Legion is still sitting by his computer and is cursing like hell: "Soon I'm gonna throw this fuckin junk on the railroad and piss on it!!!" I ask him what's wrong and he tells me that he can't find the right letters and symbols to type in his password on his myspace. "Well, why don't you just enter another site and then copy the symbols you need and then paste them in the password field?" He looks on me like a retard so I show him what I mean. He had paid for using the PC for 60 min, and since he couldn't log in he only got the chance to use it for 6 min hahahaha! We laughed so much about it later, when he had settled down haha! As usual we finished off the day in a restaurant that had really nice food and good prices. Novy joined us for a beer and then later, like 4 hours later Darek (Tourmanager) and Peter joins us as well. I think we ordered like 35 beers, 3 bottles of red wine and two rounds of shoots that night hahaha! And dude, we saw a lot of good looking women from the restaurant that day. Slovakia has really beautiful women that are for sure!!! Another lovely night with the other guys in the band!

3rd of June - SK Kosice @ IC Culture Train, Slovakia
Legion: Being driven to the punk-style place in the back of a van together with all the equipment we're just laughing, laughing about the usual misconception and prejudices about luxury rockstar life on the road. I would never be spoiled enough of a shithead to whine about it though. This is the life we have chosen and we didn't pick it for the comfort, glamour or a silly dream of getting rich from doing it. We just can't keep away from it because we love making music and bringing it to the people. Get the reaction, make everyone roar, jump, laugh or just go nuts. The show is as expected pure fucking rock n roll. I sign my way through the crowd to get to the showers where a power out not only rob me of the light but also of all hot water. Cold shower in darkness. Power of the will. And a chance to get back at Fotis waiting outside for a shower. "Boo-Hooo hahahaha brother!!!" On the contrary from Salzburg today the joke is not on me! Back down in the venue people are getting psyched up for Vader. I down two Slivovitz with friends before going out watching the show. "Legion, have a drink with me!" Sure thing, I accompany a cool fellow to the bar only to find that after having one Slivovitz the guy next to him also wanna do one together, and the next one. And also the guy after him. Tina the bartender interrupts the shot race. "Hey, now we're gonna have an Absinth" she smiles. Ok, I'm a man who can handle his licker I lie to myself feeling my stomach burning and my head is starting to feel like on ice. I count till 14 Slivovitz and 3 Absinth and everything is starting to look surreal. I sit down at a table and Fotis gives me a clap in the back "Legion my great friend how are you?" Clap! Whooooosh!!!! Fotis hand slamming into my back is like pulling the trigger of a gun, I projectile vomit like a young Linda Blair to surprised, amused and disgusted bystanders bewilderment. After this it's all black, I guess I got dragged to the bus by someone

Tomas: Gaahh! Since I spent some time with fans; taking photos and drinking beer, I was the Last in line in Devian to take a shower. Legion was the last one before me and when had been In the shower for 6 min the lights went out. When he got out he told me: "The shower is very Cold, I MEAN IT!" I have so far taken a shower in cold water without lights and everything so I thought; okay just another cold shower then. But When I started to use it was ICE COLD. If had been drinking that water I would fuckin died or something. After 5 min my head starts to ache like hell and I feel a little dizzy. When I was done I was in a really bad mode! After some Slivovitz, I had forgotten all about the shower, even though my head still ached!!!

4th of June - Day off in Prague, Czech Republic
Legion: Oh yeah Praha! Good stuff. I've been here a bunch of times, managed to play the classic Bunker in -96 among other things. Joinus knows the city very well though and it's great tagging along hearing his rants about the clock master who got his eyes ripped out etc etc. 8 PM we get the first meal of the day, KFC mmmm the taste of cholesterol haha I love it. With a stomach aching from yesterdays abuse I munch myself stuffed before we stroll around till we end up in the Metal picturesque Hells Bells where we of course managed to get hammered again :S Sometimes alcohol is great on tour to relax, sometimes its social, after a great g
