Ambulance - The end of our time LP
Genre: Hardcore/crust
Origin: Sweden Released: 2004 Website: Ambulance Label: Putrid Filth Conspiracy Uploaded: 19.02.05 Yet another band doing that oh-so-popular musical hybrid of gloomy hardcore/crust, otherwise also called neocrust, in the vein of Tragedy and the likes. But this is definitely not just another copycat, trust me! This is right up there with His Hero Is Gone, From Ashes Rise and Remains of the Day, by far exceeding other newcomers. I was completely torn apart by the sheer intensity and ferocity of Ambulance. The wicked and massive drumming, the vicious strings and the murderous vocals creates a bloody magnificent atmosphere and feeling. You cannot just sit and listen to this, you're instantly drawn in and your entire body is flying all over the place as you violently nod along. I don't know why it took about a year to release this album, but it's a damn shame as it should have been set upon the world as fast as possible. I mentioned the murderous vocals earlier. Well, from what I understand the amazing vocalist, Sofie, is no longer in the band. Now this is the biggest shame of it all - I don't think anyone can ever replace her, as the screaming here just simply rips! This whole album rips, simply amazing! Tracklist: 1. Habits 2. All lies 3. Bringing out the dead 4. Out of reach 5. Scarred for life 6. No more 7. Hands out of the pocket 8. Consequence of selfbehavior 9. Reminding my past 10. Final rehearsal 11. Programmed to recive 12.
