The first record with Sylen on vocals since the departure of Sofie. Now that was too damn bad �cause I absolutely loved her vocals. In the past I�ve also let the hammer fall quite hard on Sylen�s vocals, so I was skeptical as to how he would manage to fill Sofie�s shoes. But goddamn! All my skepticism is quickly blown away by this thundering band called Ambulance. And I guess that�s what I�m gonna have to call for, after such a blowout. Three tracks of such bloody ferocity, such emotion, energy and just absolutely pulverizing hardcore/crust. It�s melodic yet aggressive, the atmosphere is drenched in sorrow and agony, yet it�s so incredibly hateful. This is without a doubt the best record I�ve heard when it comes to the genre referred to as neocrust. I fucking love it and I can�t wait for a new album to emerge.
