It�s a little late for this review, really, since this demo is four years old and Putrescence have released a couple of albums after it. But while conducting an interview with Mike (aka Soiled Depends) I mentioned briefly that I still haven�t heard the demo, and the nice guy that he is he of course sent me a copy. So I figured why not review the little sucker.
The sound is much rougher than the albums, but then again this is only a demo. Other than that there�s not a whole lot differentiating the demo tracks from the later recordings, and that might also be because all tracks were re-recorded for the debut fullength Mangled, Hollowed Out and Vomit Filled from 2004. Hearing these heavy-as-hell, mangling, gored-out, blood-spewing, limb-detaching, fecalized grind tracks reminds me once again why this is such a killer band, and it seriously makes me long for their upcoming fullength later this year. If you haven�t heard �em before I advice you to check it out as soon as possible.
